What's Buzz-worthy: My first look at Bowman was one that, just like last year, was intentionally delayed -- it didn't wow me at first but this time a lot of chatter about over-delivering blasters got me to bite on one. This had a similar feel to my lone blaster last year, too, with a mess of All-Stars, some notable rookies and some prospect notables including the biggest name of this past weekend in Paul Skenes on an insert. But ... just like my lone box last year was anything here rare? Not really. The design here is an upgrade over last year for sure -- big improvement over what felt like plain and typical photo framing. ... Just like I said last time, the inserts have some advanced looks to them, though plenty of this one will be made -- perhaps even more at retail to offset the higher hobby costs as the higher those go the fewer buyers will bite there. ... Retail is the home of some exclusive Green parallels and can include autographs (none for me this time) while these boxes can include a number of possible finds at longer odds, including Superfractors -- check the odds at the link up top. This one again will likely be a one-and-done for me unless something really catches my eye here as the season goes on.

Product Grade: B+ (improved design and more rares to chase, but typical box by box lineup needs more for that price)
Box Grade: B+ (plenty of names to keep it from an average mark this time but it felt more typical)
Fun Grade: B+ (good stars and timely find with Skenes ... but nothing to get it over the top)
