What’s Buzz-worthy: As I work through my various finds in a lot of these packs, there's a lot of variety -- and then some streaks of not-variety finds. This trio is all from the soccer realm -- not my realm of focus for sure -- but they are all names I recognize. One thing I didn't? The color combos here -- Clear Purple and Clear Dark Blue ... well, these might be mixed here. It happiest with a lot of colors of parallels. I'll survive. These quick-rips are at least fun for me as I'm exploring ways to collect on the cheap instead of committing hundreds to boxes (from anywhere) that, well, might not deliver for my veteran tastes. (I have ink, for example, from many names out there in the world so paying higher prices for them -- if the box even has them -- isn't as much of a win to me these days. But that's just me.) ... These packs cost me less than $5 apiece and I picked off a group of these recently for some extra surprises and quick-rip posts. This set includes stars from sports with less cardboard as well as traditional ones and I like this approach as it's something that could trend affordable while remaining unique and something that could pique the interests of a lot of collectors. There's a lot to find here as you'll see in my remaining packs -- and you never know how interest for stuff like this might grow over time once packs are no longer easily found and player collectors have stashed their favorites.
