What's Buzz-worthy: My go-to brand for the Panini WWE years didn't leave me with a good first impression with this one. How? Well, it wasn't the formula here for retail -- it's the same as past years -- it was that the registration of nearly every standard parallel card in this box was off. Every name was out of register (at right -- top being a problem on all cards and bottom a different parallel) as was the rest of the card but it's most-noticeable there and on the WWE logo. That's something that kills any bigger finds here when it comes to grading, which would be on my radar. I landed a key rookie here, Oba Femi, while the rest of the basic parallels -- Red & Blue are retail only in this just like past year -- perhaps skewed a little toward past names more than they might normally. That will probably happen with a smaller set (100 in the starting tier) at times. The rest of the box continued with the tiers and parallels and included one numbered card here that's not the norm -- that helped the box avoid a below-average grade as it wasn't the flashiest group even without the printing issue. All in all, it was a rough first impression but there are still plenty of things to find here ... and my second box did not have this issue so that won't prevent me from giving this more of a look later.
