What's Buzz-worthy: What is this? It's the third release in a series of artist-created indy wrestling card sets that spotlights a number of young stars and newcomers among several companies with a little extra chase element in there, too. Only 150 sets were made for this series with two chase cards per set and then an extra card for buying a pair of sets. (To spark sales, the first 61 sets bought landed three cards -- I was too late for that -- while the final 50 only get one extra per set.) I have done each of these sets (the first two are in past Buzz Buys roundups -- here for 2022 and here for 2023) but since it's almost been a month since my last wrestling Buzz Break (How?!?) I figured I'd pop this new release up here today. This edition of the base set has a number of key names -- only one name I wasn't familiar with -- and a few so new to NXT they have very little cardboard if any at all. My variations show the full rainbow of potential finds here, too. These illustrations showcased in a Japanese menko design are crisply done and the printing and cutting is immaculate, too. These were an easy grab at their price and I like the bonuses that come with them, too. I picked up a different set tangentially related to these (similar style) and will likely Buzz Break them here, too, at some point ... this was the new arrival so it won the coin flip for today. All in all, I like the feel of these and I'll be a regular buyer while they're done. Why? They're affordable and crisply done and the continuity of them helps make it all a little more collectable. They're a win ... simple as that.

Lot Grade: A+ (landed a variant for a name I wanted to find and a 1/1 bonus of a new NXT arrival put it over the top)
Fun Grade: A- (part of me wishes these sets were larger ... about the only drawback)
