What's Buzz-worthy: There's nothing subtle about this one and its theme ... and that's probably why a three-pack turned into six-pack of tins here for December Buzz Breaks. My last one was a solid A-grade tin and perhaps should have been an A+ but this one also is very strong ... but not as good as last time. My rookies here are not as good at all while my biggest parallel card last time (Elly De La Cruz) was replaced by a Corbin Carroll this time. An upgrade is Ohtani as a variation ... so that's a plus here but still perhaps not as strong as last time for the pack overall. ... You get a variation in every tin and the ornaments are one in three. There are other parallels of the Trees here and that's about the only chase other than the variations. (Hits are in the boxes every time.) ... The design is a little heavy here but since my flagship buying was easily at an all-time low this year between all three series this one offers up a chase for stars in a more concentrated form with a quarter of the base set in every tin.

Product Grade: A (nothing subtle about this design ... so, to a degree, it might be improved over some past years)
Box Grade: A-
Fun Grade: A (for the price, it's low-risk with a good mix -- but boxes are safer with a hit every time)
