What's Buzz-worthy: I have a few of these in-hand, so here's another before the big day arrives and it's one that shows the potential star power here with the rookies and some veterans of note packing into this pack in a pretty heavy presence. To me, it's the rookies that are the best draw here most of the time and this one delivered well. That's a good thing since the inserts weren't as hot as my other tins and there's no extra insert this time, either. ... As I noted before, there's nothing subtle about this one and its theme -- and that's probably why a three-pack turned into six-pack of tins here for December Buzz Breaks. ... You get a variation in every tin and ornament inserts are one in three. There are other parallels of the Trees here and that's about the only chase other than the variations. (Hits are in boxes every time.) ... The design is a little heavy here but since my flagship buying was easily at an all-time low this year between all three series this one offers up a chase for stars in a more concentrated form with a quarter of the base set in every tin. This is perfect for a dabbler and a box will give you a hit every time with potential for even more ... this brand, as with most years, is a no-brainer to try.

Product Grade: A (nothing subtle about this design ... so, to a degree, it might be improved over some past years)
Box Grade: B+ (strong run of rookies this time, rougher on the inserts)
Fun Grade: B+ (for the price, it's low-risk with a good mix -- but boxes are safer with a hit every time)
