What's Buzz-worthy: My finale of my three sets here yielded a strong chase card in the 1/1 Metal version of Roxanne Perez -- not the best possible find, but not a bad one at all and one that's among the better cards. ... what is this? It's more of an update for a previous series but since these are well-crafted and there's still plenty of creative art-based new stuff here I bit off a trio of these sets of two sets. They're a pair of artist-created indy wrestling card sets that spotlight just six notable stars today with looks back at their earlier personas for three veterans and then a throwback design for the three newbies (one there is technically a veteran but slightly newish as a solo act). The main set is six cards and then every other set includes either three Rewind or three Wrestling Stars cards. Only 90 sets were made and that makes the two companion sets 45 apiece. Atop that there's a good amount of parallel action here with printed serial-numbers that help ensure the artist's market when it comes to copycat cards. (These are well-crafted so that would be tougher to do vs. some indy sets out there.) ... The bonuses depend on when and how many sets you grabbed, but with three I was assured I'd land both companion sets and then the parallels would also drop with precision (no dupes) across the board. Like the last set, these illustrations showcased a Japanese menko design and then the Stars cards are a nod to 1951 Topps baseball game cards -- all are are crisply done and the printing and cutting is immaculate, too. I'll do more just for fun at some point if available.

Fun Grade: B+ (smaller set than past versions but still a good amount of variety)
