What's Buzz-worthy: I reluctantly added this blaster to a cart and the Cardboard Gods rewarded me with a hit box -- that Relic is one in 62 packs (eight boxes). It wasn't alone as the Yamamoto is one in 96 packs and the standard Refractor is one in every other box. Tack on some good rookies (though the Crews is badly centered) and top names among the rest of it and this was comfy and a win for the price and most stuff here was really clean for a Heritage box of recent vintage. Still not probably not a winner if I were a seller over the long haul, but at least it felt like a good box. This one also had almost twice as many RCs than my previous blaster. ... As noted before, there's more Chrome and more parallel action here and while it's a smidge forced it's been needed for Heritage for a few years -- those are more spots for potential big-name highlights to pop up in a smaller box, meaning most blasters here have a better chance at delivering something ... and that's what affordable retail boxes need these days, perhaps more than ever. Why? Collecting. This re-visitation of the 1976 Topps set -- a crisper and cleaner version of a set that, to me, evokes 1970s Ford Motor Company stylings ... an industrial, but crisp feel a la an old LTD car or something but not quite as clean and sporty as a Mustang. Gone are the weird colors and that garish font of 1975 with those traded in for some quirky cartoons on the fronts that are perhaps the only thing that's not clean and relatively timeless here -- but they do immediately draw it back to the original. Gone are most of the issues that made last year's Heritage rough -- the backs are readable here, the collation seemed clean and no overwhelming issues from printing and packaging other than maybe some rough edges at times... but even that wasn't as tough as the last few years.

Product Grade: A- (crisper and cleaner than last year's H with more Chrome/variety added)
Box Grade: A+ (a hit of a solid name and at least one rarer find make this a top-level blaster)
Fun Grade: A- (parallels feel forced but they are extra spots for potential highlights in lesser boxes, which is good)
