What's Buzz-worthy: This is another box here that's relatively standard -- pretty much a sampling of the average here -- that all comes down to who you got and where. The RCs were a little higher in volume this time but still pretty barren, the base once again not as flashy. The inserts helped with some better names but still wasn't anything here to warrant an A grade this time. ... As I've noted before, the foilboard effect is back on every single card but instead of going dark on the borders it's a mash-up of 1982, 1984 and 2019 with a light modern look this time around. Does it work? Yes. ... The new Diamante parallels bring some funk -- they're different and I don't mind them -- but the lineup of what's in these packs is ultimately the same as last year with the Stars Of MLB cards once again carrying more retail weight -- so it definitely still needs more variety in this format. ... If you like what you see, rip into jumbo for your best results with a guaranteed autograph and Relic and maybe more.
