What's Buzz-worthy: This one is pretty much a sampling of the norm here -- that Pink is roughly one in 10 packs but otherwise it's al standard stuff so it comes down to who you got and where. The RCs were pretty barren this time, the base not as flashy. The inserts helped barely with a Wood appearance and some other names but not really money guys -- so overall not average but not that far above it, either. ... As I've noted before, the foilboard effect is back on every single card but instead of going dark on the borders it's a mash-up of 1982, 1984 and 2019 with a light modern look this time around. Does it work? Yes. ... The new Diamante parallels bring some funk -- they're different and I don't mind them -- but the lineup of what's in these packs is ultimately the same as last year with the Stars Of MLB cards once again carrying more retail weight -- so it definitely still needs more variety in this format. ... If you like what you see, rip into jumbo for your best results with a guaranteed autograph and Relic and maybe more.
