What's Buzz-worthy: I typically dabble with slightly older BenchWarmer boxes with this more of a Vault-style approach that can include past cards or stuff that didn't make it into previous waves vs. new ones that have a little more on the manufactured relic front like these. Why? I'm more about the autograph and memorabilia cards than the patches and gem cards like what was found here. At first pop of the lid, this one looked good with the 1/1 gem card right on top (these come in a tray, not packs inside the box) and it included some rarer finds across the board but this one also was a card short of the stated 10 per box here -- and often times (pretty much all I have opened) previous releases would include extra stuff. The inclusions here weren't bad ... I think there just wasn't anything that big beyond that 1/1 gem card, though that /5 parallel may be a popular one based on asking prices for easier versions. Asking prices for 1/1s of Hammer are higher than my Black November box price I paid but actual sales wouldn't pay for the box unless there was more demand here vs. other brands. I do like the concept here -- some smart insert names and approaches in past releases here more than this time -- vs. standard no-concept releases. The checklist here should have some good possibilities though there wasn't anything, from what I have seen, formally released for this one ... so there's some mystery about what one might find. There also are Doodle autographs, Inscriptions autographs, Kiss Card autographs, jumbo Schoolgirl Swatch cards, Class Cuts hair cards (yep, strands of hair in cards), I Pledge Allegiance cards, Lunch Money currency cards, Milk Money coin cards and Qual Pearl cards similar to the gem I found here. All in all, there's a good mix -- some past and present stuff, too -- but this one felt like it came up a little short vs. past boxes I've done ... rougher but not rough enough it would scare me off at a sale price again. After all, it still included a 1/1 and more.

Box Grade: A- (a 1/1 find is always good -- helped an otherwise weaker box that was shorted a card)
Fun Grade: B- (shorted a card didn't help, despite the rarer finds)
