What's Buzz-worthy: This is an oddball of a repack, not one filled with newer (likely publisher stock) issues, and it's one that's so random that I almost didn't grab it along with some of my typical go-to comics repacks you're seen broken here in the past. But ... that top book got me to bite with Jim Lee and Scott Williams art and this pack ended up having a rarer surprise inside so here we are. Apparently New Dimension Comics is a Pennsylvania-based chain of stores and this repack showed up at an Ollie's Bargain Outlet store ... how that worked out I'm not sure, but these repacks are mostly older stuff -- and sometimes deluxe stuff -- and that got me to bite on a couple for some late-month filler. The Momoko variant was a nice find considering the fact that a shop had to buy 25 copies of the standard book to land just one copy, while that Byrne title was new back when I was regularly buying books way back in the day and is relatively clean like the rest. Five books for $6 was cheap enough for me to bite with the two books on the front and back known (Superman and Next Men) but it turns out that variant that was in the middle could pay for it all. I'll generally stick to the new-stuff repacks since I like the variant chase material and copies that are crisp and clean vs. potential damage over time, but this one was surprising enough I might give them a look later if I happen upon more. (I did one other with something weird inside it that you'll see at some point later this year.)
