What's Buzz-worthy: "Cowabunga, dude," had better be in your vocabulary with this one as four of the 10 issues here were for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and two of them are variant covers from their creator while another one might (I say this as I'm not a regular comics guy ... just a dabbler) be decent as it's a second-printing of an issue with first appearances for several characters -- Mona Lisa, Bandit, Bea, Diamond, Puggle, Lita, Hector, Klunk and Laurel. (If they are big deals or become that, this could be an interesting one ... also with the perceptions that second prints are printed in lower volume, too. Though, that said, with variant issues for the initial printing those will probably always be more popular.) Other franchises found here are also popular like Star Trek and Transformers have plenty of books so I don't know how much any one here might resonate but for pocket change and with variants in play, I don't hate it. (A busy Friday so I didn't check the market interest on any issues beyond the No. 101.) ... As I noted before, a couple of simple things got me to bite here -- the volume/price and that some premium squarebound books seemed to be popping up from these and others I found at an Ollie's store ... a place that seems to routinely have repacks and a lot of past graphic novels from all publishers as part of their outlet burn-offs. (It's a regional chain so you may not have heard of it ... but they always have a lot of books and comics and occasionally have good runs of toys, too, if you're a retail hunter/flipper.) ... These seem like they are clean, unread copies likely straight from the publishers' leftovers and I think they are worth the look considering you're paying pocket change per issue here.

Product Grade: A- (it is what it is ... a new-issue grab bag)
Pack Grade: B+ (a few variants and a potentially rarer second-print of a key issue)
Fun Grade: B (see above ... 40 percent being one franchise didn't leave me liking this batch as much)
