What's Buzz-worthy: Every once in a while, members on the Blowout Forums report streaks of hits in retail repacks and Buzz figured it was time to check this particular type out as it's been a past favorite of mine (at times) when good brands show up inside them in bulk. They often can include hits more than the odds indicate and if you don't get lucky they do include a bonus hit. This one didn't offer any extra hits beyond a 2003 Jersey Kings Nomar Garciaparra jersey (/250), but I did land a pair of Aaron Judge Rookie Cards and a grading-worthy Mark Grace Rated Rookie from the Donruss packs. (If you were around then, you know that card was big then.) The pack selection wasn't great here -- a lot of flagship Topps -- but it did do relatively well with inserts and name players. I typically bust these when they have volume selections of Heritage, Ginter or other retro brands because even bland rips of those are a little more entertaining than flagship. The gallery below (click for a closer look) includes the notable inserts and stars found here.
