What's Buzz-worthy: I haven't done much hunting in the toy aisle out there since the demise of Toys R Us -- yes, it's been that long -- but these are brand-new to me and were a cheap enough price for me to do some ripping. Why? To give you some variety here and so I could chase a couple I wanted. ... These aren't quite as charming as the past WWE Mystery Minis from Funko toys that were also blind-wrapped vinyl figures, and there doesn't appear to be a follow-up to this release, but the approach is fun though the full price here is a bit pricey ... $9.99 a pack. I found these via WWE shop for $5 apiece -- not super-cheap but cheap enough to dabble -- so I opted for half of a display box. The box of 24 should guarantee you all but two of the 14-figure lineup (odds below) and I landed one of those two mystery figures here ... but not a full set. (The Styles is a mystery odds item while a Triple H figure is a mystery found in every other display not shown on the pack.) The likenesses are simplified like in vinyl and most are fine but Andre The Giant looks like Rocky's little brother, Frank Stallone. Some of these look like they might -- might -- have some posable features but I'm not sure if that's intended here. Undertaker had an arm pop out on me ... but it wedged back in with no adhesive in sight. I landed most of the ones I had wanted to find here so mission accomplished ... not sure how I would have felt opening 24 or even these at full price. (What do you so with them when done? I dunno.) I loaded up on Mystery Minis when they got cheap, too. All in all the blind-wrapped vinyl figure bug hasn't gotten me, but I could see how people might pick these up slowly over time to find the one they want. Asking prices on some of these are above the $10 mark but there aren't many sales ... so this break is more for fun than anything else.
