What's Buzz-worthy: Confession time .. I don't do trading card games -- no time or patience there when there's tweeting or breaking to do -- but this budget item (under $15) drew me in with a good volume of cards and most importantly artwork that got my attention -- there are some nice likenesses here for the recent generation of characters but also some of the classics. The box here includes everything you see below -- a group of starter cards and then some others (unclear if all decks are the same) and I landed all but one of the tiers possible in this one. Atop that there are dice with characters also in play and then the basics -- a cardboard icons sheet for when playing, a checklist and instructions, so it's not just a basic pack starter deck. I'm not sure on when these arrived -- whether this one specifically is recent or not -- but the Destiny line existed with several releases from December 2016 to last year when Fantasy Flight Games decided to halt the line. Why rip here? Well the chase is the chase -- rarer tiers can command more -- but I'm also goofy enough to admit some of the art here makes me ponder slabbing a couple of these cards. (It's not a total given but it's possible as they're something different and something cheap.) Those two variables should always be in the back of your mind for the long-term -- stuff that's obscure now could really be tougher to find later -- and that's when you can potentially sell cardboard for more than people might think ... gaming or not.
