Buzz Buys ... A LOT: A run of Undisputed WWE parallels

Buzz buys a lot of stuff these days and for a few reasons, really. Sometimes it's just bargain-hunting, sometimes it's just something that strikes me. And other times it's a lot -- a group of things -- and that has happened enough lately I figured I'd try something different as a regularly appearing item. Sometimes my lots will be wins, sometimes they won't be ... but I'll let you decide.

AN UNDISPUTED STEAL?
The Lot: A lot of nine numbered Orange parallel cards from Topps Undisputed WWE

What's The Deal? Generally speaking, there was enough meat here to make it all a deal and a steal as it's a good mix of newer, active stars and Hall of Famers all in one. These are from Topps' premium line during its past WWE card run -- the best set save for the super-premium Transcendent if you ask me -- with this one checking in with a decent price with an autograph or Relic in every single pack and  most autos being on-card and everything on a thicker, premium, grading-friendly stock, too. The 2020 set is an absolute favorite of mine for the parallels as that modest patch of added color really pops along with the images that are sharply printed and quite clean -- especially in comparison to the Walking Dead-style grungy designs of the two previous years.

What's The Steal? The Mr. T card was my main (but not only) reason to grab here last year with there being a little more interest in that card in recent times (probably due to fans of older, early Wrestlemania fans dabbling with cards more) while the Stratus and others here aren't bad finds, either. And, technically, this is a Mr. T wrestling Rookie Card (parallel) as all of his older wrestling cards were more cameos or highlights than cards of him and cards not released in traditional pack form. (The funny part? The only copy of this parallel over on COMC has a $180 asking price ... it's a really nice card but not that nice unless it was slabbed if you ask me.)

Notables: Shinsuke Nakamura 2018 and 2019 Topps WWE Undisputed, Trish Stratus 2019, Jey Uso 2019 and these 2020s -- Diesel, Dakota Kai, Johnny Gargano, R-Truth and Mr. T (with Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper) ... all cards (/99)

Rookie Cards: None in this lot as they are parallels.

Bottom Line: The value is really in the eye of the beholder here but this is a brand with its thick stock that grades really, really well in my experience so almost any card in a slab here with a top mark could make this small lot a smart buy. I haven't slabbed any of them yet ... but likely will.
