Buzz Buys ... A LOT: Digging some Panini Golden Age minis

Buzz buys a lot of stuff these days and for a few reasons, really. Sometimes it's just bargain-hunting, sometimes it's just something that strikes me. And other times it's a lot -- a group of things -- and that has happened enough lately I figured I'd try something different as a regularly appearing item. Sometimes my lots will be wins, sometimes they won't be ... but I'll let you decide.

What's The Deal? This pair of lots are for parallels of minis where regulars are found one per pack -- but in this case these two lots are for two colors of parallels each only found (typically) one per hobby box ... so this is actually two cases worth of these minis for these parallels. That's a win and I thank the bulk rippers out there who break and move stuff like this.

What's The Steal? Just the lot itself has merit -- I'll have more of an assessment of how good this one was for me once I figure out where I put my mini master set album. (It's tucked away in a box/tub somewhere with five versions of parallels per card making up the row of a page.) I'm not actively making that project happen on any kind of regular basis, but I ripped so much of this one over the years I have no doubts that I have at least two and maybe three of the five sets done -- and seeing these lots of two tougher colors was a no-brainer for me to grab them. Plus some good names were shown ... so I knew this one had potential -- either for my set or some parallels in slabs. I haven't gone there but I should as these are fun and affordable and I suspect others like this even all these years later based on some of the inclusions like The Bad News Bears that aren't really found elsewhere.

Anything Missing? Nah ... this is a lot, not a set or near-set situation.

Bottom Line: For my project, ripping a whole case wouldn't be the wisest move for me as most of the minis would be standard or easier ones I already have and, with all I ripped, a lot of the hits I have found more than a few times as well. This kind of a lot isn't the norm and that makes it a win for me no matter how many of these cards I might already have.
