Buzz Buys ... A LOT: Powered by holograms, promos & more

Buzz buys a lot of stuff these days and for a few reasons, really. Sometimes it's just bargain-hunting, sometimes it's just something that strikes me. And other times it's a lot -- a group of things -- and that has happened enough lately I figured I'd try something different as a regularly appearing item. Sometimes my lots will be wins, sometimes they won't be ... but I'll let you decide.

What's The Deal? Just like my previous lots like this, this one was billed as a simple lot of non-sports insert or promo cards with a decent price for the vast mix, which this time was more of a hologram run with some inserts and then a few sample cards from magazines of the past

What's The Steal? What caught my eye this time? All those holograms, of course, with appearances from some iconic sports stars in there, too, but also another appearance from Beavis & Butt-Head and cameos from Mickey Mouse, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Ace Ventura, The Beverly Hillbillies, some early 1990s comic book stuff and even a news team assembled ... but, no, that's not Ron Burgundy and company.

Anything Missing? Nope as it's not a set/subset scenario ... also a bit missing was the top-condition stuff as that was really the only minor bummer here -- I was hoping some of those holograms might be slab-worthy where a key name was in play. (They could be ... but not at the kind of marks I'd want to land.)

Neuman, Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Reggie Jackson, Joe Montana, Looney Tunes, Mickey Mouse, Nolan Ryan, Beavis & Butt-Head, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Ace Ventura, The Beverly Hillbillies, ABC 27 News, The Mask, TMNT, Young Indiana Jones, The Flintstones, Hercules and more.

Rookie Cards: Not applicable for "RC" definition here ... though technically there might be some first card appearances.

Bottom Line: Like my other lots like this, the condition for a lot of these cards wasn't that strong but the assortment totally was nice (for the price). The run of holograms could have been a really big deal if they'd been elite-grade slab-worthy. ... Just like my others, I need to revisit this whole stash again -- once I figure out where I put it after I took my photos (I grabbed this last year) -- and take a another look with upper mid-range grades in mind ... there could still be some interest. Just like I said before, I've been dabbling with a lot of oddball non-sports slabbing lately and generally there's a lot less of some of this stuff out there vs. traditional sports stuff from this general timeframe.
