Buzz Buys ... A LOT: This WWE six-pack delivered well

Buzz buys a lot of stuff these days and for a few reasons, really. Sometimes it's just bargain-hunting, sometimes it's just something that strikes me. And other times it's a lot -- a group of things -- and that has happened enough lately I figured I'd try something different as a regularly appearing item. Sometimes my lots will be wins, sometimes they won't be ... but I'll let you decide.

What's The Deal? This small lot is more of the flashy and the newcomer variety for the most part and one card here was among my search targets and what I needed, while one other was more of a money card and the reason this was a no-brainer of a buy when I found it last year. (Yep, it's been sitting ... a lot of my lot buys are WWE -- too many -- but I'm aiming to spread them out and get this series going more regularly in 2025.) The Shotzi parallel isn't that pricey or rare -- it was just what I was looking for as a collector when I stumbled upon this small lot for sale.

What's The Steal? A lot of stuff here can be volatile or cheap, of course, but the Ripley 2020 Topps Finest Rookie Card Refractor parallel is one that can sell for more than the full lot here raw -- and can have asking prices a few times that. In a slab, this is the kind of card that's even higher. The drawback? Refractors are not that rare around this time from Topps WWE -- sometimes one per pack -- so the autos and the colored Refractors get more attention ... but a Rookie Card Refractor is still a Rookie Card Refractor and Ripley is easily one of the best young names in WWE today. That card slabbed can be $50-100 ... and this one is clean.

Anything Missing? Nah ... this is a lot, not a set or near-set situation.

Bottom Line: If I wanted to grab the two key cards right now on COMC they would cost me about $30. A good find and names for this collector. Ultimately, this is a reminder that you should dabble with some lot searches when hunting ... you never know what might get thrown together -- especially these days with so many hunting only the biggest finds.
