This new department will be an occasional series that will take a quick look at a game our gaming release with card elements -- essentially a breakdown of what's in a box, but not the typical kind of a Buzz Break. (Buzz isn't a gamer so this will just be what's in a box vs. gameplay analysis.) Maybe there's a box you'd want to see busted? Send Buzz an email at BlowoutBuzz@blowoutcards.com.

What's Buzz-worthy: I picked this up literally months ago and had it sitting in reserve for a day where I'd start this series ... so here we are. This one can still likely be found via some discount stores or online -- I grabbed a couple of these from an Ollie's Bargain Outlet for a fraction of the original price -- and it's worth the look as a card collector since there's plenty of cardboard here. Some cards are a slightly larger size and there are duplicates for the action cards where you'll see the same names a few times and some only once or twice. The box is crisply done -- perhaps nicer than the cards -- and the cards themselves are clean (grading worthy if that's your thing ... I've pondered it) save for some occasional very minor rough edges from the cut/packaging/materials. The names here are mostly 1980s and 1990s WWF and WCW names who are all marketed now under legends deals with the WWE but there are some 2000s names in there as well along with cameos from some others from the era and today if you look closely. The main Legends cards are slightly larger-size cards (they still fit in a team set bag) with traditional blind gaming/playing card backs, while the backs of the Signature (moves) cards have clean photos of each star and more of a gaming front specific to the character. The other card styles are more repetitive with action images that can be hit and miss but that's where you'll spot Miss Elizabeth, Heenan and others on cards of their own or as opponents. At my price, which was either $5 or $10 a set (so long ago I don't remember) these were an easy grab and I know I wanted to go get more for the heck of it given the volume of cards and good names here but they did eventually vanish. Sets can still be found elsewhere for a little more, but if you have a name you collect here there are a lot of eBay (and elsewhere) sellers letting singles go. Either way, this is a solid little affordable look at some big names on cards with about the only bummer being that it's essentially 100-percent focused on the men's side of things. All in all, this one still gets an A-grade ... especially for a reduced price. Even at its suggested retail price ($19.99) this was a decent mix -- and you should be able to find it for less now.
