Card That Stole The Show: This main-event case was pretty loaded with talent within the ink but I'll go with the notable newcomer of last year -- the Rhea Ripley takes the top spot.
What's Buzz-worthy: This one is one of my favorites from the recent releases in Topps' WWE run but it's not because of the base set. In fact, this one's delayed arrival that took it from the standard 24 packs down to two with a hit in each made it better in my opinion. These cases are tiny -- but that smaller volume of boxes keeps the cases affordable. The biggest highlight here? The Roster inserts -- as they are often for the NXT sets for the latter part of the run -- along with the Roster cards that come with on-card autographs. (They're not really parallels as the images and numbering change. There are no Roster parallels without ink.) I landed ink for at least two of the biggest names here if not more. Ink I didn't find that might be of note? Finn Balor, Dexter Lumis, Johnny Gargano, Austin Theory, Swerve Scott ... so I pretty much got something for all of the key names. The spread of color and names helped here, too, as a lot of the names even if good ones are readily available and findable, which caps their values to a degree. Odds-wise, all of my base parallels were found as promised. Silver autos are not one per case (one in 22 packs ... 11 boxes) while Gold are one in 53 packs. Both names there were pretty solid if not outstanding finds. There are some rarer parallels on both sides as well as rarer plate autos and insert autos as well as duals. The Relic autos aren't guaranteed per case in any color but the regular ones are one in 12 packs (one per). The Blue is one in 23 packs, while the Gold is one in 115. At least two if not all three of my Relic autos were solid names here. The price got this one initially penciled in for this main event spot but it delivered very well -- there are a lot of autos in this one that could make this a scary case to bust ... but it delivered very well. I'll probably do this again.
Product Grade: A (small boxes help this one a ton)
Case Grade: A+ (ink delivered very well here)
Fun Grade: A- (a good case = a fun case)
What's next? Look for WWE breaks regularly here on The Buzz ... and look for #BuzzMania 6 next year!
