The biggest weekend in pro wrestling is here with WrestleMania 41 set for this Saturday and Sunday from Las Vegas. We'll make today a big one for wrestling collectors right here on The Buzz with #BuzzMania8, a marathon of wrestling breaks all day long.

This brand is, without question, the one that I opened the most across all years during the Panini America WWE run because there was longer-shot potential as well as a battle royal's worth of variety in every box ... especially in retail.

The Brand: 2024 Panini Select WWE wrestling cards (blaster box)

My Take Before I Broke This: From 2022 to 2024, this Panini WWE brand is the one I busted the most -- and exclusively on the retail front -- where all cards are parallels and insert cards. Atop that, this tiered set adds parallels to those rarer finds and then this edition has some retail-only inserts. I haven't ripped into this year as much as others just yet as it arrived with other products around it timing-wise -- instead I went with high-end singles to grab what I wanted with softer-than-expected prices. Also adding a twist this year? Mega boxes of this one that guaranteed an autograph every time. I've not opened those but want to ... just not at a higher (flipper) price. (I'm being patient.) So, all that said, I went light on this one -- just a handful of blasters this year -- and saved one for today ... because it definitely has potential. There are also a number of younger names with their only lower-end cards in this one -- some of their only Rookie Cards in WWE. Parallels can create monsters here if everything lines up for you in a box.

Who Won The Battle? This one delivered a surprise and a solid insert -- I was somehow under the impression that the Throwback inserts were only in megas but they're merely retail finds. There are parallels there that can be strong sellers -- especially for a few names -- and then there are other retail-only cards that are good here ... atop the tiered parallels in Red & Blue only here, too. This box was a strong one without offering up an actual hit -- but those are possible here.

--

The Top Rookies: Oba Femi is a top name to watch -- he has legit game-changer potential as an absolute monster who can talk -- so I will go with that parallel RC here. The rarer-tier parallel of Nima isn't bad ... but Femi is way more on my radar and should be on yours.

--

Card That Stole The Show: A numbered parallel for an insert of Ripley is a solid find here -- the only better options would be something actually even rarer or an autograph of a solid name. This card alone made this small box a win at its standard retail price -- it pays for a decent chunk of the blaster and in the long term will be one of the better finds in that set as she still has plenty of time left in the ring, barring injuries.

--

Box Grade: A ... Ripley and Lynch were good finds -- an A-list serial-numbered card is a win on the cheap.
Fun Grade: A ... Good boxes are fun ... especially when they're not expensive.

--

The Bottom Line: I didn't expect this to deliver as well as it did ... so it will lead me to opening more as long as it can be found.
