The biggest weekend in professional wrestling is here with WrestleMania 34 set for Sunday in New Orleans and events beginning tonight with the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, a NXT Takeover on Saturday and then Raw/Smackdown tapings after that. We'll make today a big day for wrestling collectors right here on The Buzz with #BuzzMania, a series of WWE wax box and wax pack breaks all day long.
How long will we go? Stay tuned ...

Card That Stole The Show: The Shawn Michaels or the Bret Hart.
What's Buzz-worthy: In those awkward years after Hulk Hogan and before everybody abandoned their colorful spandex for black tights with more attitude, Action Packed released a pair of WWF sets -- and this one is notable enough to land here because it's the home of two very notable certified autographs, Undertaker and Randy Savage. Both signed just 500 serial-numbered copies. The Undertaker auto is one of just two sigs for his entire career before Topps landed him last year, while Savage only later signed for one Topps WCW release in 1999. (There are promo cards for both of these cards so watch the notations and the serial-numbering if you're a buyer.) The only other inserts here are six 24k gold leaf cards that carry a G notation with the number but could easily pass for the base cards. This tiny set has 29 basic cards with overbearing facsimile autos and then a subset of Colossal Crushers and some studio shot cards that are the basis for the gold cards with an entirely gold background on the card. The gold cards are typically found one per 24-pack box, while autographs land one in every 20 boxes (480 packs) or one per case. These embossed cards are made by folding and gluing three panels together so sometimes you find some damaged cards in the packs but they are pretty "high-end" for the time. This particular pack lot delivered a good chunk of the set but also had enough extras. A sealed box of this might make for a decent break if you can find it -- loose packs will be hit and miss kind of like this lot.

Action Packed made some nice cards back in the day.
I miss action packed . Wished Panini would revive the brand instead of a lame insert
Great design. Wish we appreciated Action Packed when it was around.
