Card That Stole The Show: Tough call since I like so much from this set, but ... the autograph.

What's Buzz-worthy: This release is easily near the top of my all-time favorite release for WWE from Topps because of its simplicity and its strong photos along with a strong checklist. Why rip a jumbo pack case? Well, I never had -- partly because the odds are a lot rougher here than any other format -- but I couldn't pass this one up as it arrived for less than $1.40 a pack ... shipped. These packs run very streaky -- I was 30 packs in before I landed my first Ronda Rousey Rookie Card but she and pretty much all others arrived between 12 and 14 times here. It over-delivered with two of the three hits being parallels on the rarer side -- so that also shows good things to be possible here. If I could do this one again at a dirt-cheap price, I might ... but in some instances hobby cases aren't super-expensive for this release though they are 12 boxes per. (That makes it a little less of an impulse buy vs. this one -- but it can deliver a lot more ... and I would if I could.) ... As I said in previous breaks of this one, a big key in this release are first NXT cards and WWE Rookie Cards of Ricochet and Ronda Rousey as well as a number of other fun cards like the Vince McMahon exploding limo. (Notables showing their volume lead the gallery below.) The autograph was a nice pull, a photo variation is also tough (but should be one per case if you're paying attention to details ... not a lot of differences on that one) but the star of this one is the base set. It might just be me ... and I'm OK with that.

Case Grade: A (stuff looks to have dropped pretty close to odds -- basic autos not even guaranteed here)
Fun Grade: A- (fun break at a seriously slashed price ... not so much at original, though this set is a fav of mine)
