Group breaks have been a game-changer for the card industry for several years now and from time to time Buzz will jump into a BlowoutTV break of some type and break down the results of what he landed by picking up a team. There are near-daily breaks right here with Matt on Blowout TV during weekday working hours and even more from Houdini and others over on the forum in the evening.

Now, it's time for this post's break breakdown -- a spot in a 2019 Topps Allen & Ginter baseball card case.

The entire haul for this one, which delivered pretty well -- see the gallery below.

INSIDE THE BREAK ...
The Product:
2019 Topps Allen & Ginter baseball cards
The Breakdown: 12 24-pack boxes per case (three hits per box)
The Price: $71.99 for two teams -- one each in two cases (all cards shipped)
The Teams Buzz Landed: Baltimore Orioles & Arizona Diamondbacks (both via random)
Grab Your Own Box: Click here

Initial Reaction: I landed the Diamondbacks in the first case and, on paper, they are among the worst teams to lane in this one with a very limited lineup of just four players and only three among hits and other advanced inserts. However, there was one non-traditional inclusion that bailed them out. The Orioles are a team with a few more options and notable names from the past -- remember, past and present players are found here -- so that gave me a little more hope heading into the break.

Final Thoughts: This break was a late-night affair (one of several breaks) so I'll readily admit that I missed most of it as I fell asleep halfway through the first half of the first case -- before I was bailed out by the autograph of a MiLB general manager in the Diamondbacks system. I wasn't aware she was even tied to the Diamondbacks organization at the time I checked the hits for the team -- a list that includes only a Jake Lamb Relic and then Rip Cards for Randy Johnson and Zack Greinke. A rough team. The base cards, as you can see, aren't much better in terms of depth in this release. Thankfully the Orioles is a team loaded with Hall of Famers in this one and nearly every card was a HOF player (only the rookie Mullins is not). The hits for the Orioles were lean for me but a Framed Relic is my preferred find here. With 72 hits in two cases, your odds could be very good for some team combos. This one felt like a success for the volume of what I got thanks to the Orioles, though my hits aren't really money cards this time. Two hits should have gotten this break an A but I have high expectations for Ginter -- the Diamondbacks spot is a bummer so that dropped things down some. Realistically, I shouldn't have even landed two hits. If you can find Ginter breaks where you get everything and the non-sports hits are creatively handled, this is a brand that's worth a look, especially if it's a break with more than one case involved.

Product Grade: A
Break Grade:
 B+
