Buzz's BlowoutTV Breakdown: Big name in a Bowman Mini set

Group breaks have been a game-changer for the card industry for several years now and from time to time Buzz will jump into a BlowoutTV break of some type and break down the results of what he landed by picking up a team. There are near-daily breaks right here with Matt on Blowout TV during weekday working hours and even more from Houdini and others over on the forum in the evening.

Now, it's time for this post's break breakdown -- a spot in an MLB mixer with some vintage flair.

Initial Reaction: This Black November sale break was one with good player volume at a low price ... so I rolled the dice and figured 25 players might pay off.

Final Thoughts: These sets are loaded with rookies and prospects from that year -- a mix of players from all Bowman releases -- and in mini form here with a good amount of color in every set via 30 bonus cards. The break was cheap and safe -- at worst you would land five base cards in every spot you did (under $1 a card) -- and at best you might land something like a Superfractor or printing plate as those were in there along with a rainbow of rarities. I won this one by landing the Aaron Judge RC -- and a few other notables -- but my luck ran out after that on the parallels with just two Refractors in there. For $29 I did OK thanks to the Judge ... so that's all I can ask for. My timing wasn't good on this one as I perhaps would have done more as these are simple and have a lot of other good names beyond those here.

Product Grade: A (for the mixer contents vs. price ... pretty safe)
Break Grade: A (landed Judge -- the best name here -- but no color for me other than two Refractors)
