Have you seen the latest cool cards from a new release? With so many options for collectors of all kinds arriving every week it's possible you haven't. That's where Buzz comes in -- well at least on one brand you'll see here from time to time in what we're calling Buzz's Pick Six. Simply put, here are six cards from a new arrival that seemed interesting to this collector and we think they might interest you, too.
This week's release: 2019 Topps Heritage baseball cards (arrives Wednesday)

BATTING LEADOFF ...
The Card: Boston Red Sox World Series Champions 2019 Topps Heritage Card No. 1
The Price: Affordable once they arrive
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Just like the original set this one is built on, 1970 Topps, this one leads off with the defending champs in a modern celebration photo that's miles beyond the stiff team shot of the 1969 New York Mets that led things off back in the day. This card gets my nod because you'll see dozens of new Sox cards throughout this release with base cards, All-Stars, postseason highlights, World Series highlights and plenty more once these arrive. You'll see more Soxy cardboard at the end of this pre-release Pick Six, too.
Keep reading for five more interesting items in this week's roundup ...
IN THE NEWS
The Card: Jimi Hendrix 2019 Topps Heritage News Flashbacks Card No. NF-1
The Price: Affordable but not in every box
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This insert has showcased newsmakers for years in Heritage, and it's not the first appearance for this rock icon in the line. It is, however, likely his final one as this card notes his death at age 27 in late 1970. There are several musical cards in this 15-card set -- Janis Joplin, the American Top 40, Isle of Wright, The Beatles and Diana Ross and The Supremes join Hendrix -- but the sleeper of the bunch value-wise might be the card showing Elvis Presley visiting Richard Nixon. I'll leave that visual surprise for arrival day as it should end up with a classic photo and make some people a few bucks where they might not expect it. The design here is funky but, hey, welcome back to 1970.

CARD-MAKERS GET THEIR DUE
The Card: Product Development Team 2019 Topps Heritage Topps Teammates Card No. 1 (box-topper)
The Price: Could surprise you
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This 18-card set of toppers won't be found in every box as there are a few types in this release, but they could end up being money-makers if they are tougher to pull simply because they are that different and somebody out there somewhere wants unique cardboard more than the normal stuff. This set showcases the crews at Topps that make your cards -- everything from customer service to licensing to legal are found here. The people making your cardboard get some cardboard of their own. Don't like it? It might have been the idea of somebody above ... and now you can collect them.

A RETAIL-ONLY NOD
The Card: Jose Altuve 2019 Topps Heritage 1970 Player Story Booklets No. 4
The Price: Might depend on odds
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: These simple foldover books are recreations of the 1970 set that included an even larger checklist of stories about players' careers. This 15-card set is stacked with notable veterans with artwork from Rich Molinelli and can only be found in retail packs. They may not be your thing style-wise, but those who were around back in the day and need everything here will need them, too. I also think these might look better on their stock than in digital form.

MILWAUKEE GETS A NOD
The Card: Bud Selig 2019 Topps Heritage Inaugural Brew Crew Autographs Card No. IBC-BS
The Price: Should be somewhat steep
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: In last year's Heritage, we got autographs for members of the Seattle Pilots franchise that played just one season out west before it went bankrupt the next spring and moved to Milwaukee to become the Brewers. The move happened on April 1, 1970, and the Brewers' first game was six days later. (Fun fact: Actual Brewers cards didn't arrive until 1971 Topps.) Selig was one of the people who helped make that happen and he owned the team into the mid-2000s while also serving as MLB Commissioner in later years. It's not his first autograph card, but this one will be the best of the bunch from this 10-card set. Last year's Pilots autos were relatively limited and sold very well, so I'd expect similar action here.

BOSTON'S LEGENDS
The Card: Carl Yastrzemski & David Ortiz 2019 Topps Heritage Real One Dual Autographs Card No. RODA-YO
The Price: Steep when you can find it
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This brand always delivers top autographs from the past and present and sometimes they are found on rarer pulls together. This is one of those times and it's among the duals set. Even rarer are the triples -- and the Red Sox have a place in both of those sets. It's interesting that Ortiz is the modern guy here -- he's been retired since 2016 -- but there's also a Yaz-Devers card for Sox fans to chase.
