Have you seen the latest cool cards from a new release? With so many options for collectors of all kinds arriving every week it's possible you haven't. That's where Buzz comes in -- well at least on one brand you'll see here from time to time in what we're calling Buzz's Pick Six. Simply put, here are six cards from a new arrival that seemed interesting to this collector and we think they might interest you, too.

This week's release: 2019 Topps Series 1 (arrives Jan. 30)

THE CHAMPS ARE HERE
The Card: David Price World Series Champion Autographed Relics (/50 max)
The Price: N/A as these are not available yet
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This guy's dominating postseason led the Red Sox to another World Series title and that means we get a few highlight cards in the base set and some rarer hits among the chase cards for this latest crown. Our sneak peek at this set arrives just after the checklist, which shows a handful of base cards for the Series, 14 World Series Champion Relics (/99 max), 12 World Series Champion Autographs (/50 max) and seven guys in the World Series Champion Autographed Relics set. These are typically not the easiest pulls as they are limited and the run for this one is larger than others due to popularity. Price is perhaps the biggest auto in this one with Brock Holt, Chris Sale, Christian Vazquez, Eduardo Rodriguez, Matt Barnes and Rick Porcello joining him. There will be Red parallels for all of these sets, too.

Keep reading for five more interesting items in this week's roundup ...

CARDS FOR A STATMAN
The Card:
Bill James Revolution of The Game insert card
The Price:
N/A as these are not available yet
Why it’s Buzz-worthy:
A lot of things have changed for MLB in the last 150 years and one might argue that the rise of the statistician and the use of sabermetrics in the front office has been among the biggest in recent decades. There are 25 Evolution of The Game cards in this one along with 10 Revolution of The Game cards. James is found alongside past influencers along with some newer ones, too -- a list that includes Henry Chadwick, Kenesaw Mountain Landis, Tony LaRussa, Branch Rickey and a few others who have shaped and changed the game. Five of them also  have autographs to chase here with James joined by LaRussa, Tommy Lasorda, Joe Torre and Bud Selig, though the former commissioner is not in the base set.

THE CHALLENGE IS BACK
The Card: Ronald Acuña Jr. Topps Home Run Challenge card
The Price: N/A as these are not available yet
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This set was a favorite of mine last year for the simple fun factor -- and the fact that I managed to win a few times. The idea is simple -- scratch off a code panel, enter your code online and predict when that player will hit a home run. If you're right, you win something (a numbered parallel card last year) and this one should be similar. Details have not yet been revealed for this one, but there's a little something there that makes me think there could be added interest in these this year ... a MLB Network logo.

THE MOMENT THAT MADE IT ALL?
The Card:
The Topps Company 150 Years of Professional Baseball insert
The Price:
N/A as these are not available yet
Why it’s Buzz-worthy:
This release is all about looking back at the 150-year development of MLB and one way that Series 1 does this is by this set -- a number of Greatest Moments, Greatest Players and Greatest Seasons cards. One of the moments is the arrival of Topps in Brooklyn, N.Y. I didn't get my hands on this one to see how the details were handled on the back, but it's one that stood out among a number of legendary names simply because it was different. The set is almost all about players from the past, but maybe they'll loosen things up in the releases after this? Without this moment, this piece you're reading right now probably wouldn't exist.

SIGNS OF SPRING
The Card:
Shohei Ohtani Cactus League Legends insert
The Price:
N/A as these are not available yet
Why it’s Buzz-worthy:
There are a few retail-exclusives this year -- look for an Acuña set at Walmart and a Gleyber Torres set at Target -- and you'll find two nods to spring training in retail packs at both stores and elsewhere. Cactus League Legends will only be found in retail display boxes and gravity feeds, while Grapefruit League Legends will only be found in blasters. Both of these sets pack a ton of retro names along with current players -- 30 cards per set. Autographed cards will be possible for both of these, too, though not for all players.

PHOTOS AND PARALLELS
The Card:
Shohei Ohtani and Alex Bregman AL West Studs
The Price:
N/A as these are not available yet
Why it’s Buzz-worthy:
I picked this one off the list based on the name thinking it would be Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout -- or other stars from the division. I got Ohtani and Alex Bregman and it's an example of a number of cards where we'll have notable moments or player combos shown for variety on the front ... while getting checklists on the back. Flagship Topps is one of those sets where we'll get some fun photos and solid action shots, so there should be some surprises on these types of cards. The 150 Years logo you see here is one you'll see on that parallel set in foil and these two players will be ones you see throughout this release and in the season to come.

Look for 2019 Topps Series 1 to arrive on Jan. 30 -- order your boxes here.
