Have you seen the latest cool cards from a new release? With so many options for collectors of all kinds arriving every week it's possible you haven't. That's where Buzz comes in -- well at least on one brand you'll see here from time to time in what we're calling Buzz's Pick Six. Simply put, here are six cards from a new arrival that seemed interesting to this collector and we think they might interest you, too.
This week's release: 2020 Topps Stadium Club baseball cards

A NEW RETAIL INCLUSION ...
The Set: Widevision retail blaster box-topper cards
The Price: Will vary by player.
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Something new this year are these over-sized Widevison cards only found in blaster boxes. There are 25 cards on its checklist and, while I have not yet seen them in hand, they appear to be tallboy sized (or close to it) with a slightly different proportion that might give us some good crops on cards we don't always see. These drop one per box and should figure to be plentiful ... as long as people are ripping and not sitting on them to flip. (Sorry, shelf-clearers, beyond some rare and rookie autos here, this one is more of a traditional release than a clean-it-out and reap the resale rewards ... the odds just are not that easy.) These are a great touch, though, and if you're buying by the (40-box!) blaster case you should ideally come up just short of a couple sets if the collation is good. Unlike Archives' toppers, there do not appear to be autographed versions here based on the checklist linked above.

FORE!
The Card: Mike Trout 2020 Topps Stadium Club photo variations
The Price: A little pricey but should come down over time.
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This oddball photo is one you'll find among the variation cards in this year's release (look for the code to end with 394 on the back) and it's got a hefty $199 price tag right now on eBay for the first copy to surface. (Click here if you want it.) The base set is loaded with unusual and visually creative images beyond the SPs -- it's what Stadium Club has been known for since 1991. The variations add some chase and definite value but I'm a little skeptical about the appeal here vs. say the flagship sets.

BIG BO
The Card: Bo Bichette 2020 Topps Stadium Club Oversized box-toppers
The Price: Could hold up value-wise as they dry up.
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: These are jumbo box-toppers found in hobby boxes and there are 50 cards in the set with just 16 boxes per case -- so they will be a bigger challenge than the retail toppers. These seem like they might be on the rarer side in the big picture here as the hobby cases won't have a pseudo-infinite kind of run with two autographs in every box. (Generally, this brand has been well-received but not over-printed save for maybe some years on the retail side.) Only seven rookies made the set here, while the rest are a mix of active players and retired greats. If you're going to chase this set, it's probably better done sooner than later.

HORIZONTAL INK
The Card: Jose Canseco 2020 Topps Stadium Club Red Autographs (/50)
The Price: $88.88 on eBay (likely a bit high there)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The autographed cards here can always have some surprises with past guys included, but rookies are a main thrust. When you land a bigger name, you should know it and since there are non-traditional images used here you'll find some looks that can make for better auto cards, too. (Those could carry more appeal and then more value than you might think.) The subject doesn't make up a lot of the real estate here, but all those fans seeking his ink in what looks like his prime early years make up a big part of the appeal for this card. There are others like it in Stadium Club this year ... check 'em all out.

THE CHROMED STUFF ...
The Card: Anthony Rizzo 2020 Topps Stadium Club Gold Minted Refractor
The Price: $59.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: These cards are not numbered but they are inherently rare with them falling just one per hobby case. So, once these start drying up finding any particular player will not be easy. Over the long term, top names on these are safe stashes ... think of all the big bucks being paid for parallels and Prizm stuff for earlier this decade because of the appeal of Chrome stock. The only drawback on this one this time? Stadium Club Chrome will be coming with other rarities that will compete with these to some degree.

THE REASON TO FLIP?
The Card: Luis Robert's cards in 2020 Topps Stadium Club
The Price: Will vary with card type and ink
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This top rookie has an autograph, an Instavision insert and then a Rookie Card and any parallels that will come with any of those in this one -- but that's it. Robert doesn't have a Chrome card this time, which makes be think he might have a larger presence in Stadium Club Chrome when it arrives ... that's the one where flippers might have a lot more reasons to clear those shelves and go crazy. His RCs are priced firmly right now -- I think they will come down -- but his autos are even pricier and those might not dip unless they show to be plentiful. (Then again if they are more people may be stashing them.)

I pulled a 2020 topps stadium club power zone autograph mike trout #4/5, what is it worth? Thanks for your time
Ultimately, it would come down to what somebody would pay for it -- or two bidders battling it out and also timing. Your best bet would be to find other Trout autos of about five copies. Best strategy would be to put on eBay with a super-high price (no intent to sell that high) and see what kind of offers you get. That will give you an idea of what the interested would pay.
