Manny Machado's first San Diego Padres baseball cards are ready already and you can get a little closer to the game via a first for the Topps Now real-time cardboard line.

That's via a piece of the news conference table cloth from his signing earlier today -- a first for Now and likely baseball card history, too -- that can be had on Relics as part of this wave of cards for Machado after he signed his 10-year, $300-million deal.

The Card: Boston Red Sox World Series Champions 2019 Topps Heritage Card No. 1
The Price: Affordable once they arrive
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Just like the original set this one is built on, 1970 Topps, this one leads off with the defending champs in a modern celebration photo that's miles beyond the stiff team shot of the 1969 New York Mets that led things off back in the day. This card gets my nod because you'll see dozens of new Sox cards throughout this release with base cards, All-Stars, postseason highlights, World Series highlights and plenty more once these arrive. You'll see more Soxy cardboard at the end of this pre-release Pick Six, too.

The GoFundMe page for the family of a group-breaker who died in last week's shooting at the the Henry Pratt Co. in Aurora, Ill., has more than doubled its amount raised since Tuesday.

And now BlowoutTV has set up an auction-style case break of 2019 Topps Heritage with winning bids from the break being directed directly to the fund once they are final. It's one of a few efforts in the hobby helping an infant son and wife left behind.

Clay Parks was one of the five people who died during the shooting last Friday. The 32-year-old was the HR manager at the company and had joined that team last November. In the card world, he ran Sportszilla Breaks for the last couple years along with his wife, Abby.

The GoFundMe page is set up for their infant son Axel's college fund. So far, it has has reached $14,000 of its $20,000 goal. Blowout Cards is encouraging those who collect to get in on the breaks so we can all help them reach -- and top -- that goal. A top prospect and the reigning National League MVP will be there ... and dealers and distributors out there should be, too.

Topps' second Industry Conference is set for next week at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz., and registrations ($250) are still available for the event beginning on Sunday.

Set in the heart of the Cactus League, this event will include several speakers during the three-day duration of this one with San Diego Padres prospect Fernando Tatis Jr. a signing guest for the opening reception Sunday and Christian Yelich to be on hand Monday night. There also will be gifts for each day of attendance.

The Item: Manny Machado 2010 Bowman Chrome Draft Gold Refractor Auto (/50, PSA 10-10)
The Price: $5,655 after 42 bids (seven hours remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Manny Machado has a agreed to a fat contract -- 10 years, $3o0 million -- with the San Diego Padres and now there might be some new fans for his key cards like this one. Will it make him more or less popular? I'm not sure, but the action on this card is strong right now. It should be interesting to see how it finishes up tonight. Boxes of this one won't be found easily or affordably, either, so it's the singles route here -- and your best bet is to go graded for sure. He's got a good volume of autos -- far cheaper options than this -- so you can find his ink if you need it. Will he be signing more autos with such a big deal? The size of the contract suggests he won't need to unless he wants to.
