That's because King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch arrives Friday on Netflix -- a reality show that follows industry veteran Ken Goldin as he buys and sells collectibles through his online marketplace as captured by Omaha Productions.

The series promises appearances by Drake, Peyton Manning, Karl Malone, Mike Tyson, Ric Flair and Logan Paul, according to the network.

Topps will be taking to the court soon.

Fanatics revealed on Thursday that it has signed a group-licensing deal with Winners Alliance, the group representing some members of the Professional Tennis Players Association, to create tennis card products.

Players who opt in to the Alliance will be featured in an annual tennis release as part of the deal. Full details were not revealed but "Fanatics Collectibles has committed to creating an annual series of player trading cards for the next two decades," according to the company's statement. The deal will cover both men's and women's stars in the licensing agreement.

The release of 2023 Topps Series 1 baseball cards is just days away ... and there's a lot to like.

The industry's flagship set looks to be one of the more-exciting releases in recent years with a stacked crop of Rookie Cards and other newcomers as well as packing a variety of inserts that include multiple levels of parallels, plenty of autographs for past and present stars and then a roster of Relics that should impress.

One that stands out for The Boss for example? The All Aces insert set that showcases impressive pitchers (at right). Meanwhile, Buzz likes him some Rookie Cards of the reigning National League Rookie Of The Year Michael Harris II.

Blowout Cards' bounties giving big rewards for those who find big cardboard have captured the attention of the masses and generated hobby headlines plenty of times in the past -- for years really at this point -- and we're still warming things up for a new one to come starting next week.

Call this piece your head's up ... your tip that it's coming.

In the past we've offered a $5,000 reward to collect all 50 states in Allen & Ginter -- that one was way back in 2011 before Buzz was even a thing. More recently, we've had a newer Ginter ink chase for those who reeled in something big and in the pandemic era Blowout's Most Wanted has offered $500,000 for an iconic Zion Williamson card. It wasn't alone as well as other calls for cardboard that we simply needed were made. Before that, we offered $100,000 for a Shohei Ohtani Superfractor auto and that one looks like it has since become an absolutely legendary piece of modern cardboard. These are the tip of the iceberg, really, as Blowout bounties have been around for years via BlowoutTV channels, too.

All those past bounties are firmly filed away in the history books, though, as we're ready to embark upon the next big chase in the hobby with a new arrival. Next week, Blowout will officially unveil and announce the full details for one of its most-exciting bounty promos ever.

If you're on the hunt for new items in your collection, there's a new place to look.

The Goldin Marketplace (click here) launched today as a new option for buying and selling cards as well as other collectibles from pop culture and history such as video games, VHS and toys. It's a service that will supplement Goldin’s auction platform while also offering authentication and grading services from PSA as well as vault services. There also will be weekly auctions to go with its larger headline-making Elite auctions.

Processing is already under way for collectors cashing in, and the Blowout Cards store credit is already flowing for those who were lucky enough to find the MVPs in packs of 2022 Topps Chrome as part of the Topps MVP Buyback Promotion that began on Saturday.

Wait, what? 

Well, in case you missed out on the big reveal last week, Topps is buying back copies of Aaron Judge and Paul Goldschmidt cards from 2022 Topps Chrome -- even base cards can get you $20 apiece and you can land more credit if you land better copies of their cards.

The cash-in is for store credit via Blowout Cards and it's good for Judge and Goldy cards from Chrome as well as its Logofractor Edition. It also will be in play when the 2022 Topps Chrome Sonic set drops in February.

How does it work? Submit cards to Blowout with the detailed instructions at this link. It will run until March 31, 2023, when a new baseball season begins.

If you found the MVPs in packs of 2022 Topps Chrome, you have a buyer.

That's because Topps is buying back copies of Aaron Judge and Paul Goldschmidt cards from the set as part of the Topps MVP Buyback Promotion that begins on Saturday.

The program lets you can cash in for store credit at your local card shop or via Blowout Cards if you don't have one and it's good for cards from standard Chrome release as well as the Logofractor Edition and the 2022 Topps Chrome Sonic set coming in February 2023.

It will run until March 31, 2023, when a new baseball season begins. It's part of a Small Business Saturday effort from the company -- a move to help out all of the card shops around the country as well as spark even more interest from collectors.

Topps' silver-pack fix to the missing rookie short-prints in 2022 Topps Chrome are now live with the five missing players slowly arriving from these packs in Refractor form.

Breakers started receiving the packs yesterday as noted on the forum -- one for every box purchased -- from Topps. Blowout Cards customers' packs will ship no later than this Tuesday after they arrived here today. Tracking will be emailed the day that silver-pack shipments are processed.

The cards that were inadvertently not put into packs by its printing/packing company are card Nos. 221-225 -- short-printed cards of rookies Bobby Witt Jr., Julio Rodriguez, Spencer Torkelson, Hunter Greene and C.J. Abrams. The silver packs will include these cards inserted randomly with others. These rare cards were late additions to the checklist as SPs but didn't get put into hobby packs.

A Florida hobby shop is encouraging collectors and others to help those affected by Hurricane Ian last week.

Naples-based East West Sports Cards is encouraging those who can help with donations by serving as a drop-off center as well as making a donation from all in-store sales this week.

"In support of our community as well as surrounding communities during this time of need, numerous relief efforts are being made. All efforts are in search of volunteers and supplies and will be in constant need for quite sometime," read the company's announcement. "With that being said, East West Sports Cards & Collectibles, Versagym & Nutrition Elite are coming together and creating a designated drop-off location for those looking to donate."

An upcoming Saturday -- Oct. 22 -- at the shop will be the Chantilly Card Show Trade Night where collectors can converge to make deals in the midst of football season and in the midst of the Chantilly Card Show itself, which runs from Oct. 21-23 at the Dulles Expo Center.

The Fantastic Store is located at 14508 Lee Rd Unit F in Chantilly, Va., and its regular Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. -- but this one will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the Trade Night event.

Collectors who have been eyeing boxes of 2022 Leaf Metal Soccer cards now have a bonus redemption to consider.

Leaf Trading Cards revealed on Tuesday that it is offering a "very limited" bonus box with two 1/1 Leaf Metal Soccer slabbed pre-production proofs inside -- one signed and one unsigned -- for those who send in the bottom panel of their opened Metal boxes to the company.

Topps revealed on Monday night that it will be producing silver packs with shots at missing short-printed rookies from 2022 Topps Chrome.

Blowout Cards announced this morning its plan for fulfillment of those packs to its customers -- one silver pack for every box purchased.

The short print parallel issue affecting 2022 Topps Chrome Baseball Hobby & Jumbo SKUs is unfortunate, but we are pleased that @Topps acted quickly with a response.

Blowout Cards will ship Topps Chrome Silver Packs to customers as soon as they arrive at our shipping facility.

We will be shipping packs to all of those who ordered and continue to order @Topps 2022 chrome baseball from Blowoutcards.com. Not an ideal situation but the right thing to do for our customers. As soon as we get the packs we will begin to process shipments.

Update (Sept. 22): Below is Topps' newest statement in full.

Topps' highest priority is our customers, and we want to provide you all with an update regarding the 2022 Topps Chrome Baseball product. After discussions with our manufacturer, we understand that the planned bonus short print variations of five rookie subjects were incorrectly not included in the collation of select product SKUs. As the short-print variations were originally not part of the set and later added for an additional chase element, there was unfortunately a technical miscommunication about the product mix in the production process.

This issue does not pertain to all 2022 Topps Chrome Baseball products. The short-print rookie variations were included in the Hobby Lite product available only on Topps.com, and the Sonic and Logofractor Edition products, which will both be available at a later date.

For those who purchased the Hobby or Hobby Jumbo products that did not contain the short print rookie variations, Topps is providing 1 additional 4-card silver pack for each 2022 Topps Chrome Hobby and Hobby Jumbo Baseball box purchased through Topps.com, hobby shops or breakers that purchased directly from us. Topps has updated these additional silver packs to include four cards, and the short-print variations will be randomly inserted in these packs. Additional cards may include a mix of 2022 Chrome Baseball base cards, along with inserts and other surprises.

Topps is working directly with every distribution channel of the product to ensure these packs are properly distributed through the original sellers, with shipments starting on Sept. 30, 2022. For eligible customers, here is how you can obtain the silver pack(s):

Topps.com Customers
Topps will be shipping the silver packs directly to customers who purchased product on Topps.com. Topps.com customers do not need to take any further action and they will receive one silver pack per 2022 Topps Chrome Baseball hobby box purchased. Topps Chrome Lite is EXCLUDED from the silver pack program as the short-prints were properly inserted into this product. Value box purchases on Topps.com are not eligible for the silver packs, but are eligible for the retail drawing referenced below.

Local Card Shop / Breaker Customers
If you purchased your 2022 Topps Chrome Baseball hobby/jumbo box through your local card shop or through a break, please reach out to them directly to receive your silver pack. Topps is working closely with our stores and distributors to provide silver packs and confirm that customers receive one silver pack per 2022 Topps Chrome Baseball hobby box purchased. Topps fully expects its hobby partners to distribute silver packs to customers that may have purchased product at local trading card shows and/or through online platforms such as eBay.

In addition to the above mentioned additional four-card silver pack for each 2022 Topps Chrome Hobby and Hobby Jumbo Baseball box purchased through Topps.com, hobby shops or breakers that purchased directly from us, big-box retail customers who purchased the Value Box and/or Monster Box products of 2022 Topps Chrome Baseball will be eligible for a drawing to receive the short print variations. One of the world's biggest soccer stars is signing for Panini America.

Panini revealed on Monday that Kylian Mbappé signed an exclusive autograph trading card and memorabilia deal. Terms were not disclosed but that will lock him into signing for trading cards in its release and via Panini Authentic, its memorabilia division.

"It is such an honor for me to join the Panini family," Mbappé said in a prepared release. "As a child, I used to collect some of Panini trading cards, dreaming to be represented on these cards one day. Ten years later, here we are!"

Update: The auctions close at 5 p.m. today with the break tonight.

Cheap Fun Breaks is teaming up with MLB Auctions for a charity break during a game this Wednesday.

Up for grabs is a box of the high-end 2022 Topps Definitive Collection baseball cards and BlowoutTV's Houdini will handle the break during the Mariners-Angels game with bidding closing at 5 p.m. The break will take place during the YouTube Alt Cast of the game (at this link) during the seventh inning and will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The game is scheduled for a 4:07 start.

This one will be a spot break, so all auction winners get one card from the pricey box of cards that's loaded with six autographed cards and two Relic cards.

MLB will match the closing auction price for each of the eight auctions, which are live now. Bidding on each spot opens at $150.
