Up next on the comic book movie hit list is Deadpool, a Marvel-inspired creation arriving on Feb. 12 that you've already probably seen a commercial for a few times here and there. (As long as you have a pulse ... or a TV.)
Deadpool is a wise-ass who arrived in the Marvel universe in February 1991 via The New Mutants No. 98. That $1 book will cost you more now but the Rob Liefeld creation has many other appearances out there for fans to chase in all those years since.
His second appearance comes in X-Force No. 2 -- everybody has X-Force, right? (Even Buzz has at least a dozen No. 2's in storage somewhere to go with 30-some first issues ... )
Since we're close to the arrival, Buzz figured it was time for a vote -- check out the latest trailer below and then tell us what you'll do.

A pair of auctions this week from Profiles in History will help get some iconic pieces of original art into collectors' hands from some of the most-memorable works in pop culture history.
Up first on Thursday (Dec. 10) is the Calabasas, Calif.-based company's "Animation & Disneyana" sale, which will include 880 lots of artwork and Disney memorabilia ranging from retired ride vehicles to animation cels from classic films.
The top two pieces in the sale are original animation cels from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (above) and Lady and the Tramp (below). These pieces carry opening bids of $35,000 and $40,000 respectively and are estimated to command around $50,000 apiece when the final gavel falls. Several other pieces from memorable works, including Fantasia, are among the sale's items as well as a pair of Charles Shulz Peanuts strips.

As you may have seen here on The Buzz last month, this single copy of Star Wars Vader Down No. 1 sold for $3,739 on eBay. (No, really, go look.) Why? Because it's estimated to be limited to only 12 copies and it was only available to dealers who ordered 4,999 copies of the standard book to get one.
Something even more impressive? An auction of a signed copy ending tonight (Dec. 6) will probably top that sale.

Variant editions of comic books are sometimes the Superfractors of that world, commanding crazy cash because of their scarcity and, of course, demand for them.
While this copy of Star Wars Vader Down issue No. 1 is not a 1/1 creation, it's estimated by those in the know to be as rare as a dozen copies because it was only available to dealers who ordered ... wait for it ... 4,999 copies of the standard book. You buy that many, you get one of these.

Mile High Comics is one of the biggest sellers of comic books and related memorabilia in the United States and it found itself in the news this week for reasons not related to the latest books or movies based on books.
Mile High President Chuck Rozanski writes a weekly email/newsletter where he often discusses some of the inner workings of his Denver, Colo.-based operation that might interest collectors or entrepreneurs while also presenting that week's sales and new special issues.
This week, it was to explain how Denver's real estate boom -- a development thanks to the legalization of marijuana in the state and high demand for warehouses to grow the plants legally -- gave him no choice but to sell one of his company's buildings.

What happens when a WWE Superstar turned UFC hopeful writes a comic book series featuring a character made famous on the big screen by a former WWE Superstar turned Bond villain?
Clobberin' time, maybe?
With apologies to Ben Grimm (aka The Thing), we're about to find out this week as Drax #1 arrives from Marvel Comics with a story penned by Phil Brooks (aka CM Punk) focusing on Drax The Destroyer from Guardians of the Galaxy. Drax, of course, was played in the 2014 movie by Dave Bautista (aka Batista in WWE) who is Hinx in Spectre, the newest Bond movie, which opens in theaters on Friday.
Get all that? Now it's time to get the details on the books.
