Conan The Barbarian & Red Sonja could carve way into your collection

A pair of iconic comic book characters also known from a pair of 1980s sword-and-sorcery films are making their way to toy aisles next month thanks to the Funko Pop! line.

They are Conan The Barbarian and Red Sonja.

A total of five toys will be made for the two characters -- standard versions and PX Previews-exclusive blood-splattered variants for each -- as well as a Conan with war paint.

Conan arrived in 1982 starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and banked more than $68.8 million globally at the box office. (Adjusted for inflation, that's more than $115.8 million.) Sonja wasn't as dominating at the box office as the Brigitte Nielsen film brought in just $6.9 million. The characters have, however, been around much longer in comic books since the early 1970s.
