Connor McDavid Precious Metal Gems power 2015-16 Fleer Showcase hockey cards (gallery)

2015-16-Fleer-Showcase-HK-16 The recent arrival of 2015-16 Fleer Showcase hockey cards from Upper Deck included a mix of styles from the rich history of 1990s Fleer cards applied to the ice.

Like past years and other sports, the Precious Metal Gems cards have captured the attention of buyers on eBay with the card of Connor McDavid above fetching a pretty penny, despite not having one dollop of autograph ink or a jersey swatch anywhere on the card.

How much did it sell for?

2015-16-Fleer-Showcase-HK-15 After 36 bids on eBay it went for a mere $1,009.98 -- a figure that's impressive but could easily be topped in the future as there are only nine other copies of the card to be had.

Other PMGs and autographed patches of hot rookies as well as rarities of stars have commanded impressive sales values from the brand. Below is a gallery of cards pulled by collectors and dealers on eBay as well as a selection of cards teased by Upper Deck.
