DOMINATING BAT, SOFT DEMAND?
The Item: Austin Riley 2015 Bowman Chrome Draft Prospect Autographs Cyan printing plate (1/1)
The Price: $1,800 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The Atlanta Braves have a rich history of homegrown players dominating on the big stage and a crop of young players on the team now who are seemingly capable of big things on the field and selling cardboard. The latest new arrival -- a guy who has already set a team home run record -- has had a scorching start in terms of the longball and yet he's seemingly a little soft price-wise when it comes to the high-grade first Chrome parallel auto front. (See that link below.) They aren't cheap, but the prices don't compare to other notables in recent years who have arrived and played well. This particular example isn't the cheapest but it is a unique one.

BEER-KILLER COMBO
The Item: Dale Earnhardt Jr. and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin autographed cap
The Price: $156 after 17 bids (one day remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This item is part of a charity auction benefitting The Dale Jr. Foundation, a charity focussed on underprivileged kids, and it's signed by two of the most-prolific beer-drinkers I can think of in the sports world -- the former Budweiser Chevy driver and a middle-finger flashing, ATV driving, McMahon-bashing WWE Hall of Famer. How did this happen? Austin was a guest on the Dale Jr. Download podcast last month. Of these two Austin is the tougher auto (he hasn't signed many certified autos) while Earnhardt's ink can be found in plenty of releases but is still very popular. This is a fun combo on a single item.

FIREWORKS WITH A BARGAIN PRICE
The Item: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 2019 Donruss Signature Series Pink Fireworks autograph
The Price: $74.95 Buy-It-Now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This auto came from a Donruss Mega Box and it's one that looks even better in person than in scans. If you're wanting to grab ink for this notable newcomer, this one has a solid price. Yes, the design of this particular set isn't the flashiest card -- in any form -- but I like the weird look of the Fireworks texture as they "explode" with light when you move the card. His auto also isn't the greatest-looking thing but this one is cleaner than a number of them out there.

ANOTHER CARDBOARD FIRST
The Item: Shao-Ching Chiang 2019 Topps Pro Debut Fragments of The Farm Relic (field art stencil) 
The Price: $4.74 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: I hadn't had a chance to check out this year's Pro Debut Relics yet but this one jumped out at me as a super-unique piece we have not seen before from this annual inclusion that always includes stuff we have not seen before. A piece of a stencil used for turf logo painting is embedded into this one -- and when I see one of these in person I will grab it.

GAME-USED LEATHER
The Item: Billy Martin 2019 Panini Leather & Lumber Flashing The Leather game-used glove card (/99)
The Price: $49.99 Buy-It-Now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This set has five parallels atop the standard cards, which includes pieces of fielding gloves for just 15 players from the past and present. Joining Martin are Andrew Benintendi, Ozzie Albies, Shohei Ohtani, Cody Bellinger, Clint Frazier, Dansby Swanson, Alex Bregman, Gil Hodges, Ken Griffey Jr. and a few others. Some of these are likely player-used pieces but Martin's is a gamer and I'd bet some others are, too. Fielding gloves are perhaps the rarest of the memorabilia items used by players so these types of cards won't be as plentiful for some players as swatches get used here and elsewhere. I also like the new vintage design of this one.
