eBay Buzz: Bart Simpson keeps selling after all these years

It's a simple sketch card of an iconic character in pop culture penned by his creator and it's not even rare.

But it is pricey.

It's a 1993 Skybox The Simpsons Art DeBart sketch card of Bart Simpson drawn by Matt Groening and it's not even a rarity -- at least in terms of today's 1/1-fueled marketplace -- but it's continued to sell very well in online auctions.

This one sold earlier this month for more than you might expect (no, really), continuing a wave of nearly four-figure and four-figure deals that have taken place for years. The rare card was only available via a redemption card -- so they are nowhere to be found in wax packs.
