TWO BIG ROOKIES ... 
The Item: Kyler Murray and Daniel Jones 2019 Panini Spectra dual-patch auto 1/1
The Price: $2,025 after 12 bids (two days remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This card is a shiny shining example of how you can't predict legitimate NFL cardboard heat until we're a few games into a season -- and we're still not exactly there. One guy here was the No. 1 overall pick and the other was the No. 1 surprise in the first round -- and it's the surprise that arguably might be winning the battle right now after just taking over the job for the Giants. Murray has had some good stats at times but is winless. I'm not sure who might be powering the demand for this one just yet but it is a rarity from a high-end brand that, while unusual and colorful in the past, looks more appealing this year.

WHAT, WHAT?
The Item: Eleven -- "Waffles" 2018 Topps Stranger Things Christmas Lights parallel (1/1)
The Price: $599.95 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: I did a double-take seeing this one because, while this parallel was announced, I literally hadn't seen one in the past searches I'd made for this first release. This scene is one of the key ones for a key character so I guess the card could have some demand as a one-of-a-kind need for a serious collector out there, but I'd expect it might not fetch that much. These are a bit striking compared to the standard oldschool cards with thick, white borders so I figured I'd put it out there among this week's cards.

THE 'IT' GUY FOR NOW 
The Item: Gardner Minshew II 2019 Panini Absolute Football Signature Rookies Spectrum Blue (/35)
The Price: $185 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This guy has a cult following already it seems after just a few NFL games for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The sixth-round pick out of Washington State has completed 65 of 88 passes for 692 yards and five TDs with just one pick this season for the Jags after he inherited the job due to Nick Foles' injury. There are a few choices possible out there for people who are paying big for some of his cards right now and this brand is one where I'd be looking first as it's a solid design showing him in NFL colors, not college stuff. This one is still too pricey for me, especially thinking long-term, but there's some fun being had with this guy and it seems people are enjoying it. How long will it last? We'll see.

GOING OLDSCHOOL
The Item: Nolan Ryan 2019 Topps Heritage High Number Clubhouse Collection Relic Auto (/25)
The Price: $499.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: There's so much stuff out there right now wax-wise so there's a lot to choose from -- or, too much to choose from -- so with a search for this popular brand I opted for a card that will be gone and not be found often after this current wave dries up. You won't be able to say that for the new, hot rookie autos -- you'll find those later. Cards like this one will be locked away in personal collections and be far tougher finds (not that they are easy now) in the future.

BIG FISH
The Item: Mike Trout 2019 Topps Gypsy Queen Black Autograph Garments Black button Relic 1/1
The Price: $1,999.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Remember Gypsy Queen? This big pull was found in a pack of this early release this season and it's a prime piece of cardboard no matter what time of year when it had arrived. Enough said.
