RARE SIMPLICITY
The Item: LeBron James 2019-20 Panini Contenders Optic Uniformity Gold (/10)
The Price: $2,938 after 28 bids (ends tonight)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This isn't the flashiest card and there's no autograph or memorabilia here, but it's an A-lister on a color that's perhaps perfect for his team with good timing (NBA Finals) and some super scarcity from a brand that's getting plenty of attention. It's also a perfect example of how the NBA market can be these days ... a little nutty, maybe a little unbelievable but the market is for real. (And people are buying the boxes and other notable cards across the board to prove it.) Will this one jump up even more before it ends? Probably, but you never know -- I've been known to put curses on cards showing them here, too.

CHRONICLES DELIVERS
The Item: Bo Bichette 2020 Panini Chronicles America's Pastime Gold Materials Auto Gold (/25)
The Price: $299.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Cards with small full-body photos don't often work for my taste, but this one jumped out from the Chronicles pack over on eBay when I saw it. Why? It's a well-balanced card that includes an auto as well as a meaty memorabilia swatch. Bichette has a ton of cardboard to choose from this year -- that's the sign of being a notable MLB rookie -- and this is the time of year where there's still plenty coming and perhaps bargains to be found. (Moreso with his team sent home for the year ... speculators are likely loading up elsewhere now.) I'd be considering this one and others out there if the price is right.

BIG CARD, BIG POTENTIAL?
The Item: Chris Godwin 2017 Donruss Optic Gold Vinyl autograph (1/1)
The Price: $2,499.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: If you didn't know (and you should) the 2017 NFL Rookie Card crop is one that's loaded with new names seemingly delivering every week and some seemingly all-time greats already. Don't believe me? Hit that link below to see how Patrick Mahomes cards look -- and he's not alone. This guy isn't exactly one of those top names right now if you ask me, but this card is his best auto to find in that one and it's on the market. Why might it be worth a look? His QB. Godwin had a break-out season last year but the Bucs have had an off-and-on start this year but they're at the top of their division right now ... and it's the end of this season that matters. If he delivers big later with Tom Brady, this card will be huge. If not, given the bigness of this release the card's price still seems a smidge low for a guy who has had two solid seasons before now.

TWO OF A KIND
The Item: Ronald Acuña Jr. & Juan Soto 2020 Topps Luminaries Spark of Light autograph (1/1)
The Price: $4,995 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: I've never been big on metallic-ink autos (I'd retire them from use, myself) but this one is a strong card from a premium release with autos from guys with sigs that don't always look that great -- especially Acuña with his light and quick pen pressure. This isn't the biggest of possible cards from this release -- and you only get one card per box -- but it's a nice one that can be topped despite its 1/1 status. I don't think this one will go for that much ... but it could.
