Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Look close at that patch and you'll see some game-used dirt that only makes this impressive piece from a high-end brand even cooler. What's coolest about this? It's a gem that's not a 1/1 card -- there are four more like it out there in boxes of Definitive, which is a good thing. (Even better? Today is a 13 percent eBay Bucks day if you use the app ... get on it!)

NAMES IN THE GAME
The Item: Darryl Strawberry 2019 Panini Leather & Lumber Barrel'd Up bat nameplate card (1/1)
The Price: $1,000 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This is a solid card in both its memorabilia -- a perfectly showcased "Strawberry" from he nameplate of a game-used bat from this memorable past Mets slugger -- but also in its design palette rich with bold colors, a retro rook and yet it's a clearly modern creation. This release is one that's admittedly not on the cheaper side if bought by the box, but there's some good potential here with a mix of past and present names as well as two hits (one auto, one mem) per hobby pack. Blasters include a hit every time, too, and I'll have packs from both formats coming here soon. Neither will include this one-of-a-kind card but there are others out there.

BUYING IN BULK
The Item: Andrew Vaughn 2018 Panini USA Baseball Stars & Stripes autograph (/499) -- lot of 25
The Price: $549.99 Buy-It-Now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This former Golden Spikes Award winner was the third pick in this year's MLB Draft and will likely trade in his Cal Golden Bears uniform in for a spot somewhere in the Chicago White Sox organization. Not that long ago, he was a pricey prospect on his USA Baseball cards -- and he's clearly still one with big-league potential -- the only difference is that there's more volume of different auto cards out there for people to choose from. He only has about 150 different cards from his time with USA but half of those are signed. This impressive haul is a good chunk of the overall print run for this particular card and they're priced modestly enough this could be a smart buy if he delivers like a No. 3 should. Last season he hit .402 with 23 homers and 63 RBI in 54 games as a sophomore. This year, he "struggled" hitting .385 with 15 homers and 49 RBI in 48 games. In three full seasons of college ball, he hit .377 -- and he could end up being a two-time Golden Spikes winner as this year's top player will be revealed later this week.

A LEGACY CONTINUING TO TODAY
The Item: Dusty Rhodes and Mil Mascaras autographed 1978 Inside Wrestling magazine (BAS) 
The Price: $129.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: It was four years ago today that the wrestling world lost one of its most-influential names behind the scenes and one of its most-dymamic stars inside the ring, Dusty Rhodes. In recent years before his death, the Hall of Famer helped develop some notable stars in NXT such as Sasha Banks, Bayley, Finn Balor and Sami Zayn (read their memories of him here). More importantly, he's helped develop wrestling's current landscape as his two sons, Cody and Dustin (aka Goldust) are part of the upstart AEW company that will be taking to the airwaves as a competitor to WWE this fall with a weekly show on TNT. Autographs from this former NWA world champ aren't too tough to find, though he has fewer than 20 certified autograph cards from a literal handful of releases so going this route might be easier. Also helping this piece is the ink from a Mexican wrestling legend and that Rick Steamboat headline -- not what we think of "The Dragon" today, is it?

LITTLE QB, BIG CARDBOARD
The Item: Kyler Murray 2019 Panini Luminance Draft Day Gold autograph
The Price: $1,999.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This brand has a notable look and the autos for the No. 1 pick in this year's NFL Draft will be in demand -- and this is just one of a few new options. This card appears to have a few different ink colors and some will be bolder and cheaper than others but they're all worth a look, especially if you're in on the Heisman winner's cardboard.
