MAN OF THE MOMENT ... AND WRONG SET NAME
The Item: Ronald Acuña Jr. 2019 Bowman Chrome Superfractor (1/1)
The Price: $1,799.99 opening bid (with best offer option)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This probably isn't what you're looking for with the arrival of 2019 Bowman Chrome -- it's all about prospect autos, especially in the HTA boxes linked below -- but there are other cards to look for, too, and this is one. If you click that link above you'll see something else peculiar beyond the price, which I'm not sure will even be hit opening that high. The seller mistakenly called this card a Gold Shimmer ... an error on a card of a guy who is on the cusp of some MLB history in the coming days as he's just three stolen bases away from being the youngest member of the very-exclusive 40-40 Club. If the price was low, I'd call this a steal scenario ... but it's not. (It also was fixed while I was writing this.)

MIGHTY KACY MAKES HER DEBUT
The Item: Kacy Catanzaro 2019 Topps WWE Women's Division Red parallel (1/1)
The Price: $599.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This former American Ninja Warrior competitor stands just five feel tall and weighs less than 100 pounds -- perhaps not what you might think of with the WWE -- but she is likely to be a big deal on WWE cardboard as long as she's a competitor. There's chatter that she could be done soon due to injuries, but this is the 1/1 parallel of her first WWE card -- a Rookie Card per se -- that has a pretty strong price tag attached. She's one of several debuts in this new release and she's also got her first autograph cards. Toni Storm, for example, doesn't have autos but this 1/1 Topps Vault proof is a scorcher ending today -- and they are not alone. This is a simple release -- arguably too simple -- but the newcomers are one reason to dig into these very affordable boxes.

THE ULTIMATE CHASE IN SPECTRA
The Item: Tom Brady 2019 Panini Spectra Super Bowl Champion Inscription auto (/10)
The Price: $6,200 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The NFL's best QB on the field right now -- and likely the best ever -- has signed a number of cards for Panini's high-end super-deluxe (and crazy-colorful) brand and this is one of those cards. What might be interesting here? There are 10 of these. (Mic drop. Faint. I'll be back in a minute ... ) This guy's autos aren't plentiful in general and when I see cards like these previewed, I figure "impossible chase" and generally don't focus on them. Meanwhile seeing there are 10 of this one made me wish I had looked into a FOTL box or something. But I didn't. And it's here. He's not cheap for us to buy or for companies to have him sign -- ultimately the only question might be whether he signs more or less whenever he decides to stop playing.

LETTING A ZION AUCTION RIDE ...

Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This is a Zion rarity ... an actual auction instead of a card posted with a price that could get you something with four wheels. While we've seen plenty of money paid for the new cards of the NBA's No. 1 draft pick this year, it's an auction like this that could surprise us all -- one way or another.

A FANTASTIC AUCTION ...
The Item: CharizardGX 2019 Pokémon Sun & Moon Hidden Fates Shiny Vault SV49/SV94 BGS Black 10
The Price: Coming to eBay at 9 p.m. tonight
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This card's auction will launch tonight via The Fantastic Store and the proof that Buzz wasn't asked to put this one here comes with this simple thought ... I don't know a thing about this but it looks like a big deal. (Pokémon just isn't my thing.) What I do know is Charizard is like the Mike Trout-Michael Jordan-Tom Brady of Pokémon, maybe bigger ... so a black label card should be one that impresses here by the time the dust settles.
