The Item: Wander Franco 2019 Bowman Magenta Printing Plate Autograph (1/1)
The Price: $8,499.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This guy is the big one (so far) in this new release and while that price is high it's not as steep as what will be seen for his colorful parallel autos in the set. I'm priced out on all of them but I'd prefer this one -- due to rarity over many of the color Refractors that will be pulled and priced with new-car potential on eBay in the coming days.

The Item: Baker Mayfield 2018 Panini Playoff Honors Score Optic Purple Autograph RC (/9)

Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This guy is one of the cornerstone rookies to this entire season and this card is a prime example of the late-season releases on the high-end side that could be stronger cards in the long-term than their prices indicate right now as they are battling with a season's worth of stuff. Once wax dries up and the singles get picked off? Watch out -- these could be dangerous.

NOTHING BUT JUNIOR ...
The Item: 1989 Fleer cello box with Ken Griffey Jr. Rookie Cards atop every pack
The Price: $599.97 Buy-It-Now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This one took some time to build as a collector back in the day -- or one opening case after case today -- built this ultimate box of Fleer cello packs. This approach is one that pays off well now -- though the BIN might be a bargain in the long-term -- but it's also a reason why Little Buzz didn't buy as many cello packs back in the day. Cards can run in sequence for half-packs quite easily so finding your player's card at random was perhaps easier done in wax.

A COLORFUL DK RARITY
The Item: Vin Scully 2019 Panini Diamond Kings DK Signatures Gold (/35)
The Price: $549.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This Hall of Famer in the broadcast field has had his fair share of low-volume autographed cards in the last few years but this one is his newest and it's not going to be around long (hence in part that price tag and it's appearance here). Set collectors will inevitably pick off a few of these early and after that anybody who wants one will be at the mercy of how many might be sitting in unopened wax. This is the kind of scenario -- greatness, low volume -- that could make this card one that sells for even more than this in the future. I just don't see him doing a boatload of more signing in his retirement years, unlike players. There is only one other copy on eBay and it is cheaper (this one had a better photo so it got the nod -- see link below to find it unless it's already gone).

STRANGER THINGS' SEQUEL
The Item: Cara Buono, Catherine Curtin, Karen Ceesay 2019 Topps Stranger Things 2 Triple Auto (/10)
The Price: $906.91 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Want a more of a sleeper product right in front of our faces? There's a shot it could be this one in the long-term and this is an example of a rarer card that might be a tad over-priced now but one that's safer in the future. (It's a symbolic pick for the product as a whole.) Two reasons I think this? One, the first set had a wide net and you could find it all over the place -- and some of the good stuff wasn't easy to find. This series? I've not even seen it yet at retail, though it allegedly exists. Now, I don't expect retail to deliver big this time around -- but I think that it might be off the mental radars of people, which could lead for people to look on eBay for what they need and help the market some. Could. (And I could be wrong -- this is a gut feeling here longer-term.) The second reason I think this? You can't deny the big-ness of the series and I'd bet there are a lot of diehard fans who don't even realize these cards exist. A part two to my second reason? We have no idea what future roles could come for the kids in this cast -- that makes their stuff here even more key in this set in the future.
