eBay Buzz Weekly Update: An uncut Michael Jordan rookie, Pistol Pete's ink, a Roger Maris gem, Mad Max & USA Relics

We’ll spotlight some items that have a story or just wow us with how much interest it might have — and we’re not just talking baseball cards, either.

RARE AIR 
The Item: An uncut sheet of 1986-87 Fleer basketball cards
The Price: $709 after 24 bids (with just two days remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: I've not heard of entire sheets being counterfeited but with the Michael Jordan Rookie Card (heavily faked) you never know ... but what we do know with this one is that it's not perfect but an uncut sheet with this card and this landmark set is impressive. The back of the sheet suffers from massive red ink staining so that's probably why the sheet wasn't cut and put into packs. What kind of other flaws might there be? It's not clear based on the auction images, but it generally looks pretty good on the front and it's the kind of cool impressive piece to frame and display for not only its Jordan presence but every other Hall of Famer Rookie Card that's on it. (It's not worth professional cutting with the back staining.) This one is dirt cheap right now but could go crazy before it ends.

The Item: Autographed Roger Maris 1958 Topps Rookie Card (PSA/DNA 8 auto)

Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Finding a Rookie Card for the former single-season home run king isn't hard, but his autographs seem to be getting pricier and pricier every year and clean copies aren't the easiest thing to land in a slab. This one is clean and on his RC -- perhaps the ultimate combo. Some might prefer him in Yankee pinstripes but there aren't many of those cards that can truly command attention like this one if you ask me. (And, yes, Cleveland is on my mind with The National just a week away.)

PISTOL PETE'S PENMANSHIP
The Item: 2017-18 Panini Flawless Collegiate Pete Maravich 1/1 cut auto
The Price: $14,999.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Maravich is another past great who died well before the explosion of certified autograph cards and that means gems like this one are in high demand no matter where they are found. He has fewer than 30 different cut autos from all companies through the years and most of them are 1/1 cards. A lot of his autographs are often just signed "Pistol Pete" which makes this one extra interesting.

... GOT A FRAME FOR THAT?
The Item: A 10-by-13 foot Mad Max Fury Road original French billboard poster
The Price: $721.74 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: With #WimpyActionMovies presently trending on Twitter, this far-from-wimpy film came to mind and I was curious about what I might find. This is an unused original folded piece meant for some seriously wide spaces or the ultimate fan cave wall -- I'm sure somebody out there somewhere could pull it off. There are a lot of pretty cool items out there for this film -- and if you haven't seen it it's worth a look.

A FANTASTIC PROJECT COMPLETED
The Item: Framed complete set of 2011 Topps Allen & Ginter State Relics (all /50)
The Price: $5,499.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This item brought to the market via The Fantastic Store on eBay is one that wasn't easy to complete as these were box-topper Relics limited to just 50 copies per card. Not all 50 states got cards -- some were grouped due to size -- but all 39 cards are there. Among the interesting items in the cards? A piece of Fenway Park's Green Monster, a Space Shuttle parachute, wood from the USS Missouri, a piece of Abraham Lincoln's boat and even a piece from the Statue of Liberty's foundation.
