THE LATEST ROOKIE ARRIVAL
The Item: 2018 Panini XR Calvin Ridley Rookie Patch Auto Laundry Tag NFL shield 1/1
The Price: $999.99 Buy-It-Now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This Atlanta Falcons rookie arrived big-time in a shootout with the New Orleans Saints last Sunday with seven catches for 146 yards and three touchdowns. That firmly put him on the radars for a few more collectors although many were probably already watching this first-round pick anyway. This brand is loaded with all kinds of nice cards like this one and he's got plenty of other high-end feeling cards from products without high-end prices. It's these prime cards that could be the most-volatile on the high-end if dominance continues from the rookie.

A PIECE OF DISNEY
The Item: Walt Disney signed check (with JSA letter)
The Price: $1,725 after 54 bids (with about 11 hours remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This one ends soon so it won't be long to see how much demand there is for this one atop the furious bidding that has already happened. Disney's autograph is a high-demand piece and they've pushed the $3,000 mark in recent eBay auctions. Other items with far less impressive autographs have sold for around $2,000 so this one could be a stunner when the final bids are in. Disney died more than 50 years ago so there are plenty of autographs locked away in collections that will probably not be seen again -- and that's quite likely to happen with this one.

OHTANI'S NEW CHROME
The Item: Shohei Ohtani 2018 Bowman Chrome Red Refractor (/5)
The Price: $2,500 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This Japanese star has had a roller coaster season on the field as a two-way player and it's a season that will be ended by Tommy John surgery. Despite that, he's had record-setting sales for his Superfractor autograph from the first Bowman release this year (a $184,000-plus card) and a new one is waiting for somebody in new boxes of 2018 Bowman Chrome that arrived just yesterday. This card is one of just five copies and while it's unsigned, it still seems way under-priced even as a non-signed card. He'll aways be an iconic star in Japan no matter what he does and he could easily come back just as strong, maybe better, or he could just focus on one aspect of his game instead of both. There's still a ton of potential in his cardboard.

A PIECE OF THE PACK
The Item: 2011 Panini America Black Friday autographed Super Bowl XLV pylon card (/2)
The Price: $1,299 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The annual Black Friday packs are being worked on already at Panini America HQ with the latest in bonus gems like this one for collectors who rip into their bonus packs. This one is a rarity for sure but it's not alone as some strong and time-specific pieces can be found here and not always elsewhere. That makes these much more interesting to many people. It should be interesting to see what's on the way. Rodgers is probably a Hall of Fame lock at this point and this is from what is still his only Super Bowl victory.

ONLY ONE ON EBAY ...
The Item: 2018 Panini Certified Hailie Deegan Gold autograph (/25)
The Price: $400 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This 17-year-old is one of the biggest names on NASCAR cardboard right now and she's not yet even arrived on one of racing's larger stages. If you're a regular Buzz reader you should know her name, but she's been talked about a bit more recently as she picked up her first pole position. This card is her only autograph actively on eBay despite her being found in all but one of Panini's NASCAR releases this year. Think that price is too high? Not so fast ... her Red auto from that same set (/149) has sold for as much as $107 on eBay with other sales just slightly below that. If you haven't dabbled with NASCAR wax as much this year, here's a reason to -- it could pay off well now ... or maybe even more later. And, interestingly, it's also not just her autographs that are selling.
