ABOUT THOSE UNIFORM ADS ... 
The Item: Giannis Antetokounmpo 2017-18 Panini Flawless Gold auto patch (/10)
The Price: $1,000 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This card is the perfect example where the recently added company logos on NBA uniforms has some added value -- as memorabilia cards -- beyond those for the advertising companies and league coffers. This card combines the world of Harley-Davidson motorcycles with one of the league's young and dominating stars. Sure, cards like this will be more common as high-end brands such as the new Flawless arrive with more, but this one still feels underpriced to me compared to some of the cardboard out there with new-hog price tags attached.

OLDSCHOOL MAGIC ... FROM THE VAULT
The Item: Larry Bird, Julius Erving and Magic Johnson 1980-81 Topps four-color mask negative
The Price: $610 after 32 bids with two days remaining
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This piece being sold by the Topps Vault is a negative used to create an iconic card -- two rookies and a legend then and they're all Hall of Famers now. Forgive the scan -- they scanned these small -- but it's kind of a big deal. It's not as flashy as a standard card or progressive proofs but it's a solid piece. For those who have the card in high grade or a few grades, this is the next thing to chase. (Me? I just need a low-grade copy ... don't have.)

FLAWLESS PIECE OF HISTORY
The Item: Babe Ruth 2018 Panini Flawless Jumbo Legends Ruby card (/15)
The Price: $153.50 after nine bids (three days remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This card is labeled as "barnstorming tour-used material" and that makes me assume that it could be a piece of this bat that sold for $13,800. It's quite possible that cards like this can be overlooked, despite it being The Bambino, because Flawless is so packed with crazy patch cards, even crazier cleat cards and plenty of ink with much-crazier asking prices. This one will be an interesting piece to watch at the end of the auction.

AFFORDABLE FURY
The Item: Ewan Conor McGregor 2015 Topps UFC Chronicles autograph
The Price: $179.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This is a tougher auto from a brand that delivers plenty of hits -- two autos and three Relics in every box -- and it's one that's available as part of Black November's second wave today at a pretty crazy special case price (see link below). If you land this guy, he just might pay for your case -- or Ronda Rousey might -- though there's plenty of safety in numbers with the brand. It's packed with parallels and other stuff -- and it's one that even Buzz ripped into in the past. (I'm contemplating doing it again ... this time in bulk.)

BIG-FISH BOOKLET SIGHTING
The Item: Mike Trout 2016 Topps Triple Threads bat nameplate book (1/1)
The Price: $7,500 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: A new year of Triple Threads arrives next week so that got Buzz looking at big pulls from the past and this one is definitely among the impressive pieces you can find on eBay for this long-running brand. Topps has produced some gems from Triple Threads since 2006 and this year's strong rookie crop should spark a frenzy.
