eBay Buzz Weekly Update: National Living Set lithographs, Demi Lovato's mom, Ginter wood cards, Matthew Berry & more

We’ll spotlight some items that have a story or just wow us with how much interest it might have — and we’re not just talking baseball cards, either.

A NATIONAL BONUS FOR LIVING SET BUYERS
The Item: 2018 Topps National Sports Collectors Convention Francisco Lindor Topps Living Set litho signed by artist Mayumi Seto (90/100)
The Price: $94 after 20 bids with several days remaining
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This piece was a bonus item to a few lucky collectors at this year's National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland as the artist was on hand on the Saturday of the show to greet fans. A ticket good for one of the prints was randomly put into the three-card Living Set packs that were available at the show. The set has become a popular weekly release via Topps.com with thousands of copies of each card sold each week and Seto is the creative force fueling some of the demand with her life-like artwork that's being used as part of this 1953 Topps homage. (That year's set used paintings.) Other lithos have asking prices between $345 and $749 among active auctions, while a number of these have already sold. It will be interesting to watch this one -- asking prices on standard cards she signed at the show also have commanded some strong prices. This one is impressive.

DEMI LOVATO'S MOM? YEP ...
The Item: 1982-83 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders team photo 
The Price: $19.95 Buy-It-Now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Buzz learned something this week with pop star Demi Lovato in the news. Her mom is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Dianna Hart, who was on the squad for just one season in 1982-83. While Topps made a card set for the iconic team before that time, the only thing Buzz found on eBay for this one is this piece. Hart appears second from the right in the second row. It appears that each member of the team also appeared on black-and-white 8-by-10 photos with their names on the bottom, too, making these things close to "Rookie Cards." Could there be more? Sure, especially if you're based in Texas but this was the lone item on eBay for that season where Buzz could find her. (There's an outside chance she appears on a playing card in a deck also on eBay ... but Buzz isn't starting a collection this week.)

IT'S NOT ROBERT MUELLER'S ROOKIE CARD
The Item: Decision 2016 Series 2 Update No. 337 (SP) Robert Mueller trading card
The Price: 99 cents (no bids; ends today)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Another name in the news these days is this former director of the FBI who's leading the big investigation in Washington, D.C. This card is literally among the last cards made for Decision 2016 -- a short-printed high-number card in the Series 2 Update set alongside a number of other names in the news. Believe it or not, his first card appearance comes long before this one -- back in the 2001 Topps Enduring Freedom card set where he's shown addressing the media as the FBI director after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. You can find those sets and boxes relatively easily, while this card from a much newer set was the only one on eBay when I looked.

NOT ALL WOODS ARE GINTER MYSTERIES ...
The Item: 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter Wood Mini (extended set) No. 385 Babe Ruth 1/1
The Price: $999 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The whereabouts of the 1/1 Wood mini cards from this year's Allen & Ginter set remains a bit of a mystery but the extended mini set's Wood cards from Rip Cards have been popping up. This one might be one of the biggest in terms of baseball accomplishments but might not command as much as today's hot stars if they're found. That's a big "if" right now, though. My money says the missing minis are in 2018 Allen & Ginter X boxes ... here's hoping I find one in my Buzz Break of that coming soon.

FANS OF THE (FANTASY) GAME
The Item: 2018 Donruss Fans of the Game Matthew Berry autograph 
The Price: 99 cents after one bid with five-plus days remaining
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This year's Donruss NFL set includes this fantasy sports guru on a number of cards where he highlights notable players and he's one of five non-players in the Fans of the Game insert set that's headlined by Captain America, Chris Evans. That one's pricey right now with a $599 asking price in some instances, while this one will build upon this opening price.
