HOTTEST INK IN THE HOBBY?
The Item: 2018 Cryptozoic Rick And Morty Season 1 Autograph #JR-R Justin Roiland as Rick Sanchez (/50)
The Price: $947.64 Buy-It-Now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Just like the cartoon series, you can't really explain it -- you just have to see it. A number of the autographs in this recently released product are scorchers and they're not even the main thrust of the set -- you'll find one and sometimes two full-color sketch cards per box (and sometimes an auto atop that). Roiland is the co-creator of this cult classic series and he signed a few different cards for characters in this release -- and that hasn't brought down prices for those that have sold or are on the block. Even the binders for this one are selling very well.

The Item: PSA 9 1975 Topps cello pack with Gary Carter Rookie Card showing
The Price: $305 after 13 bids with more than six days remaining
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Packs like this aren't supposed to exist 43 years later even without the RC of a Hall of Famer showing on the top. But it does and they do. There are a lot of Expos and dedicated Carter fans out there and the bidding so far shows that there will be a battle before the dust settles on this one. How high will it go? Who knows, but considering it cost a quarter back in the day it's not bad.

LIKE MIKE? YOU NEED THIS RARITY
The Item: PSA 9 1991 Pro set NBA prototypes Michael Jordan card -- and the whole set, too
The Price: $1,395 Buy-It-Now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Buzz is a big fan of Pro Set -- the good stuff and the bad at least from a certain timeframe -- and this is one that I've never seen in person so it's a definite oddity ... a rare Pro Set card. The typically more easily found promo cards (thinking 1988 for the 1989 release) have really picked up in price in recent years (sadly I still need and passed on a sealed set a couple years ago) and that interest in everything from the Dallas-based company will only be amplified when the name "Michael Jeffrey Jordan" is added. Pro Set never landed an NBA deal but this card shows what might have been. (Click on that image of the card back for a closer look -- it's pretty interesting.)

LeBRON WHO?
The Item: 2015 Panini Americana On The Tube Paula Abdul 1/1 autograph 
The Price: $299.97 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: She's known for all kinds of work in pop culture/entertainment with music, choreography, TV and more, but it all began for her as a Laker Girl and she later became the team's head choreographer. You won't get a Laker Girl autograph card in the future from what I've heard, so you'll have to settle for one of her 10 autos from this set -- and this is one of her two 1/1 cards there. She's not signed for any card companies since.

A PIECE OF RYNO'S
The Item: Ryne Sandberg 2018 Topps Museum Collection Momentous Materials Tag Patch Auto (/5)
The Price: $750 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: There are some nice cards to be found in boxes of the latest edition of Museum Collection and this one is an example of a popular but not all that rare Hall of Famer on a premium card. Pulling one of these isn't that easy -- even in a high-end brand -- but they're in there. There are only four others like it and some might not ever be found ... meanwhile others may already be locked up in collections. You might not ever see another again after this one sells. That scenario is a sobering thought for a collection of any player with cards like this.
