ZION HITS PACKS ... AT THE NATIONAL
The Item: Zion Williamson 2019 Panini National Rainbow Spokes parallel (/50) BGS 9.5
The Price: $1,499.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The NBA's No. 1 draft pick has officially hit packs via the promos that Panini America made for the just-ended National Sports Collectors Convention and its Panini VIP Party on Saturday night. While we haven't seen any ink in wrappers just yet, these promo packs will be the only place to find him until the first 2019-20 draft picks and NBA sets arrive later this year. This is one of a few cards that was graded at the show -- and it won't be the last Williamson cardboard to end up slabbed. There will be many to come ... it's just a matter of when and where, especially when it comes to autographs.

FRESH FROM THE TOPPS VAULT
The Item: Willie Mays 1973 Topps baseball original color negative
The Price: $22.26 after two bids (six days remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This is a fun item that literally just popped up on the Topps Vault today -- an original Topps color negative of Hall of Famer Willie Mays from his final season wearing a uniform he's definitely not known for, the threads of the New York Mets. He played two seasons there -- 135 games in all -- and hit his last 14 homers there, but his card appearances are very slim as a Met during his playing days and not that massive in the decades since, either. This will be a fun piece to watch as Topps Vault items can command some serious cash with the elite names involved.

REDEEMING QUALITIES
The Item: Gary Vee 2019 Topps X Gary Vee Direct360 Group Dinner Redemption
The Price: $4,200 after 57 bids (two-plus days remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This entrepreneur was a card-flipper before he was a multi-millionaire doing all kinds of stuff online, but at The National this year he was a must-see for many. A Topps X set that was soft-launched at the show was a hit of sorts, too, thanks to his face being on the box and the cards inside being ones he chose. While the sets are $20 a pop via Topps (and there are more online now), he had enough interest at his table to charge more -- and more atop that with an autograph (see below his chin for how that looks) on the box. Or, if you just wanted singles, you could go that route with his autograph on cards from the set at his table. The Collector's Edition version of the set available now at that link has an autograph (from players as well as Vee) as well as other potential inclusions that can include one of these redemptions. This one allows a fan of his brand to get an in-person look -- and there are a few to be found.

[INSERT BIEBER LINE HERE -- BUZZ KNOWS NONE ... SORRY]
The Item: Shane Bieber's 2019 Topps Stadium Club baseball card ... with an uncorrected Justin error
The Price: Varies but running very high ... for now
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: What happens when a baseball player on Twitter shows off an error on a card and a then pop star retweets it? (And then when there's an ESPN.com story?) Click the link above. This is what happens when non-collectors get in on the action in volume fighting to own a card at auction. Viral cards with mainstream media attention can command big bucks for a few minutes and then be favorites later (of diminished value) beyond the reason they are fun. The 2007 Topps Derek Jeter card, the Bartolo Colon Topps Now card, the Jose Bautista bat flip card, the Menendez Brothers NBA Hoops card ... they all now have a new buddy. Blowout Forum members have had plenty to say about this one right here. Every card is the same on this one ... it's not an error that was corrected.

CLASSIC INK
The Item: Cactus Jack 2019 Topps WWE Undisputed Green Autographs (/50)
The Price: $99.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has a few past personas and plenty of cards -- and a pretty good amount of ink -- but I'm not sure when I last saw an autograph for Cactus Jack. He's one of the autographs found in the newly released WWE Undisputed set. This year's design is one that has a heavy look design-wise but they look better in-person than how they looked on the preview mocks. This card will be on my radar and I'm probably not alone as it has a good photo, too.
