eBay Buzz: Zion Williamson, R.J. Barrett, Tim Tebow, Ronald Acuña Jr. & Ricochet ink highlight some new & notable arrivals

ON-CARD INCLUSIONS 
The Item: 2019-20 Panini NBA Hoops Zion Williamson & R.J. Barrett Hoops Art Signatures autograph
The Price: $2,499.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: On-card autographs and multi-player autos aren't typically the norm for lower-end releases, but this year's edition of Hoops includes a few of those in this insert set and this isn't even the biggest card in that 10-card group, either. Williamson and Barrett have standalone solo autos in this one, while Williamson ink can be found alongside Ja Morant and Kobe Bryant, too. All 10 cards include just those four players in solo and combo pairings -- that's four solo and six combo cards. They can't be super-plentiful or easy to pull, but they're just adding to the big-chase feel in this release.

X MARKS THE SPOT?
The Item: Tim Tebow 2019 Bowman Chrome X (/31) (PSA 10)
The Price: $299.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This release is an interesting one that's prompted plenty of chatter after it arrived. Boxes have been heavy sellers on eBay, but eBay sales for a lot of cards hasn't really happened yet, perhaps because the trading of sealed boxes is still happening somewhat heavily based on what I saw. (Or, perhaps sellers are using StockX to sell these.) This card is one of the "name" offerings who's not got upper-echelon price potential like Pete Alonso, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. or Fernando Tatis Jr., but it's also one that could have potential with fans out there -- and could surprise because of its scarcity if diehard Tebow fans start looking. Asking prices are steep for some of the singles here, but you have to wonder if singles hunters are finding it harder to find particular cards since there's likely a good chunk that are still sitting in unopened boxes.

FROM THE CLUB
The Item: Ronald Acuña Jr. 2018 Topps 582 Montgomery Club Set 1 RC (PSA 10)
The Price: $99.95 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This card was perhaps the first highlight from the first set of the first year of the 582 Montgomery Club, a membership program from Topps that took unused vintage designs and gave them new life in a few sets sent to members throughout the year. Members are renewing today and new memberships should be offered to others soon via Topps. I graded this one from my set via BGS, getting a 9.5, and generally enjoyed the releases, though I didn't land anything truly notable among my autographs. That said, I'm passing on a renewal this year since I'm not sure if any of the 2020 rookies will grab my attention in the various sets (if they do, I'll pick off singles). I might be kicking myself this time next year for that decision as the stamped factory set members received this year has been a strong seller since members started receiving them. Also strong? NEW WWE CARDBOARD
The Item: Ricochet 2019 Topps WWE Money in The Bank Relic Autograph (/25)
The Price: $199.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: I don't think this one will sell at this price, but it's one of the better early arrivals on eBay for younger stars who have ink in this new WWE release that dropped yesterday. The standard autos in this one have on-card sigs -- a big plus for a format that's more like a previous-year WWE set instead of this year's highlights- and moments-driven approaches used often. The brand uses mini boxes and guarantees two hits per mini and three autos per overall master box -- so it's a little pricier but could be a little more fun than some of the stuff this year. The checklist is relatively standard but with three autos per box there could be some good volume of singles available this year helping prices early on. However, once the boxes start to dry up there could be some surprises here. The checklist is relatively focused and has some smart inserts like the Money set. These boxes are worth a look.
