eBay Buzz: Zion Williamson's Donruss Optic debut, 2020 Topps' Golden Ticket, Toni Storm's 1/1 ink, Baby Yoda & Hailie Deegan

HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW?
The Item: Zion Williamson 2019-20 Donruss Optic Holo (Silver Prizm) Rookie Card parallel

Why it’s Buzz-worthy: What's the hottest box on the planet at the moment? It might be this one and it arrives just as the NBA's No. 1 pick is at his peak so far after a late arrival that has generated plenty of attention. Retail boxes are vanishing within seconds of arrival for this one and the various hobby formats are also scorchers -- and it's not really been around long enough for a huge number of single-card sales to be out there on eBay just yet. Too many box flippers affecting that? Or is it just me? (It could be just as I've been shut out all season long on pulling any Zions in an NBA uni ... I'm bitter.) This brand is one I like because it seems to deliver a little more fun and a little more volume than its other Optichrome counterparts -- there are a few brands with plastic potential -- but they're all very popular this year and I'm sure there's more to come. I'm not totally sure what's going on with the photo crop here (Maybe it's to facilitate autos?) but that doesn't matter. Raw copies of the base card have pushed $100 so you can expect plenty of action -- and volatility -- on everything else, too. The one constant? People want them. If I pulled a big one like this, I'd be slabbing before selling.

The Item: 2020 Topps Celebration of the Decades Golden Ticket
The Price: $25,000 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This one might not fetch that price, but it's an impressive piece as just 50 of these will be inserted into Topps Series 1 and Series 2 boxes this year -- apparently in all formats -- and it gives the ticket-holder the right to attend a party later this year where a number of MLB notables will be in attendance. The upside here is big. Simple as that.

LOW SUPPLY, BIG DEMAND ... 
The Item: Toni Storm 2019 Topps WWE NXT Red Autographs (1/1)
The Price: $465 after 19 bids (four days remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: I wondered when one of the rarest parallels of this WWE newcomer might arrive and what it might go for -- her standard autos have been around $100 since arrival -- and this one is going to do well by the time it ends based on bidding so far. And that's despite the rough edges on this one that are a sad reminder of how skinny the stock is here. (This one makes my Bronze look like a Gem Mint 10.) This Australian star (via the UK) is just starting to get a higher profile with WWE and this is her only autographed cardboard from last year. She'll undoubtedly have more but these will always be the unquestioned iconic (no pun intended) go-to card for this performer since it was the first with no competition. This rarest one will be a big, big deal later if she turns into a top WWE name.

THE PHENOM IS STILL SELLING ...
The Item: Hailie Deegan 2020 Donruss Optic Rated Rookies Holo autograph (/99)
The Price: $149.99 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The Daytona 500 is here this weekend and we won't be seeing this 18-year-old still coming up through the NASCAR ranks -- but she's arguably outselling them all. Her cardboard debut came back in 2018 and rare stuff there has sold well on a consistent basis. Her newest stuff dropped in 2020 Donruss and it's already generated some strong sales for unsigned rarer parallel cards. She finished second in her ARCA race at Daytona and there are big hopes for her in the sport. There will be even more attention paid to (and for) her cards at some point. Guaranteed.

A SALES FORCE
The Item: Baby Yoda ("The Child") 2019-20 Topps Star Wars Living Set (BGS 9.5)
The Price: $115 Buy-It-Now (or best offer)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This is the best-selling card in the history of this popular online-release brand. It's also already the most-graded card in the set with 11 slabbed by BGS. (And mine aren't even in that total yet.) It's clear that Darth Grader isn't handling these as 10 of the 11 have gotten a BGS 9.5. (The other got a BGS 9 and it's also on eBay.) This card is part of a five-card run that all got the same grade (based on pop report info), so it's possible that the seller could take less if you're a potential buyer. There will be a lot more Baby Yoda cardboard to come soon with a sticker set announced this week and a retail-only card set coming in April ... so there could be some dampening on prices with more stuff. However, the popularity of The Living Set is one thing that could help this one ... even though nearly 10,000 copies of this card exist.
